As an avid hunter in the area, saying that beware that you will get shot is an incredibly imature statement. If you do not like hunting that that is your right, but do not go out and say you will get shot if you ride in Chester.

If you like a good loop starting from Chester Center.
Take Old Chester turnpike as recommended. Follow power lines Northeast until you cross Candia road.
At the top of the hill after the first dip there will be a path that goes left and right off the power lines.
Take the right path into the woods.
At first T intersection go right.
At next Y intersection stay left.
Follow the path until you come upon a newly built subdivision.
Stay left on the Path past the Pump house which will put you over a small stream back into the woods. Follow path and stay right at next Y intersection.
Take right at the next T intersection.
You are now on Ledge Road which changes from a Class V road to a gravel road and comes out onto Rt 102 1/4 mile from Chester Center
