ya these trails are nothing major....there is a few miles of single track but not very well kept up. Mostly full of punk kids and trailer park people(alot of the track is behind a trailer park). I tend to run into a lot of hikers back in here as well. There are some fun parts to it but nothing worth going out of your way for.

Today i was out there and some old guy (biker) stopped me and my friend to let us know that mtb is forbiden in the park but it isnt enforced.....hence all the tracks guess. He said out of sight out of mind..and watch out not to get busted. I have been back through there a 1000 times and nobody seems to care. Its like 5 blocks from my house so thats why i ride it so often. It does travel around 2 lakes if you keep any eye out for the trails ...some are pretty over grown. Maybe the only 2 people that use it are this old guy and myself. He was nice enough though.....and looked like he had been riding for many years.

The park itself is pretty nice as there is a huge beach to relax once you have been through all the trails. The park trails are mostly paved...thats why you have to hunt for the single track.....it there there and like i said......there is about 4 - 5 miles of it. I enjoy it.

Fun trail, very easy, not very long. I have only ridden it a couple of times here, but it is dirt ,and singletrack so that beats the paved trails in the area. Not worth a long drive to get there.as said before snail lake is close and so is sucker lake.

Customer Service

35 W to highway 96 westleft at the T and then right into Long Lake regional park. Look for the open field with parking lot and look for the trails there. Also off the sidewalk to the park there is another one, didn't take it all the way may connect to the main trails don't know yet.

These trails are nothing like my old hometown of Big Bear CA but they are nice riding if you can't get out of town or have to work late to pay for your rig. On trails closer to the beach and and picnic areas, watch for hikers

Customer Service

I submitted this without all the info. Exit 35W at 96 and head west to T in the road. Turn left and park is on the right. Turn into the first entrance and then park anywhere. Trails are scattered and tough to find sometimes but worth it if you wander for a while.

Either rolling hills or very steep declines leading onto paved walking paths. The rolling hills are OK for everyone, except they're single track. Not a bad ride if you live in the area, but not worth driving to.

Customer Service

If you can find the railroad tracks and cross them, heading away from the beach area, there's a decent single-track trail. Granted, it's a bit short, but it's pretty fun. On the other side of the tracks there's some big hills, but they're pretty eroded and hard to ride.

Snail Lake isn't too far away and has some decent, simpilar trails.

This trail is definitely not one to drive to. I just live in the area and saw that it was reviewed on this site. It is mostly just a flat dirt packed trail with little or no technical challenges at all. It's kinda fun to kick up some speed but watch out for others as the trees and brush is tight most of the way.

Customer Service

Long Lake Regional Park is near the 35W/694 interchange. I ride from the south end of Long Lake through the park on the paved path (just north of 694). When you get to the beach area take the left trail about 0.4 miles until it splits again. Take another left and look for a dirt single track on the left of the trail leading into an open weedy area. This is the trail (if you call it one). Follow it across a paved path and some railroad tracks. After a wooded section it will go up a slight hill and open to a sandy downhill to more railroad tracks. Go along the tracks left (NE) and look on the right in about 0.5miles. There is another little trail all the way around the lake/pond (east of Long Lake) that will loop you back to the sandy hill near the tracks.

Used to ride to Brownie Lk when I was near there. Otherwise, drive to River Bottoms, Milaca, Battle Creek, CO somewhere

I used to ride this trail quite frequently in the winter months, since it was close by. You can ride it all the way to the IronJail H.S. and even further if you explore the area enough. The best way to ride the trail is to have ten shots of Jose and some Jager in your waterbottle.
There are some downhills and tight single track, but chill'n by the beach afterwards is the tops.

Customer Service

Find the trail by listening to the wind and by following the deer driblets. Some of the trails were made by dirtbikes and horses ten to forty years ago and are now converted to hiking,xc skiing and smoking trails. They used to extend all the way to Circle Pines past Co. Rd. I. and beyond
