First of all its Kulani trail now kunali! this is an awesome trail! Hit the trail Friday afternoon at 4! thats when all the old timers hit it and they can really give you some pointers!

UHH Trail system

Windy loops through mainly gently sloping terrain located in a forest south of Hilo. Surface is covered with moss, small lava rock, roots and small logs/branches. Very fun and something for everyone. There is also plenty of fire road for those new to the activity. Take the forest road marked quarry and just head out on any of the singletracks that branch off. Finish with a Jamba Juice near the mall on the way back to Hilo or go shortly past the turnoff for the airport and hit up ken's Pancakes (open 24 hrs).
