Downhiller
The trail is fairly challenging with many tight switch backs on the way down and lots of up hill pushing/carrying on the way up. Tons of roots, which were kind of fun on a full suspension bike. Lots of boulders, good view from the top. One way up, one way down. Turn around at the shack and come back the way you came. Better for hiking than DH biking. Too short of a descend for all the pushing/carrying.

If you take this route, the climb up the Kuliouou side isn't so bad. The downhill makes up for all of the climbing. On the downhill, there are alot of rocks and ledges, along with some steep stuff. Good fun!! Oh, by the way, Ran is an idiot!!LOL!! Customer Service Take the Kuliouou side of the ridge up. Ride down the other side halfway then go up the other side. Go down the otherside of that ridge and you are in Haihaione Valley. Similar Products Used: St. Louis!!! Downhillers playground. |

If your not in shape this clomb will be a painful workout for you. If you love technical rides, then you will love this one. The climb kinda sucks, but the downhill is worth it. It is very fast and super technical. This is a great trail for an intermediate rider looking to improve the skills. There are some jumps to play around on and a picnic table for resting on at the top. If you ache for more techno, speed, steep downhill. Go past the picnic table as far as you can with your bike and scream all the way to the bottom! Oh yeah, the trail really sucks if it is wet. "Aloha, and stay upright!" rated as 4 star when dry 1 star when wet Customer Service Follow the sign to the trail head and CLIMB. Don't worry, the downhill is worth it! the trail is littered with rocks, rocks, and even more rocks. Oh yeah, did I mention the roots? Man, this trail will improve your technical riding very fast. It's a good trail with tons of switchbacks and some dismount sections. Take a load off at the picnic area and suck down some power gel and mess around on the various jumps and then zoooooooooooooooooooooooooom down the downhill and remember where those switchbacks were. Watch for hikers Customer Service one way up, one way down Similar Products Used: St. louis heights |

Make sure you bring tubes and air because of the keawe bushes. Because of the climb, I wouldn't ride it with a dualie. Hardtail with skinny tires to save energy. Customer Service Start off in town and go along Kalanianiole to get a good warm up. It sucks climbing this when your not loosened up. Similar Products Used: Bike trails |
