This is the same wheelset as others in this review.
As a clydesdale (210 lbs) I felt using these on my Surly KM for city and gravel riding would be OK. I am smart enough to use a Flow EX for rocky trails and true XC riding. On the third ride the rear came way out of true in two places, making contact on the rear triangle. I assume these will work for a featherweight rider, but obviously not for me. Though there is a strong Reynolds warranty I returned them for something beefier. Also, the blue rim tape is pretty thin with poor stick.

Wow, what can I say?? I am riding a SantaCruz Tallboy carbon with tubeless Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.35(F), 2.25(R) tubeless. The Reynolds replaced a pair of Easton Havens Aluminums. This wheelset is light, although I didn't weigh them initially. My TB is currently just over 25lbs with the new hoops. I guess I'll use all the buzzwords because they are true. Light, fast and very precise. The bike goes where you point it, like a laser pointer. So did my Havens, but these are different. They are very stiff, but not in a bad way. I am not bouncing of things as if the tires are pumped to 50psi. Its a stiffness that provides confidence, the bike will track the line I've chosen. Its a solid feeling flow. I've always felt the Tallboy is a very flickable bike, and the wheels absolutely compliment this. I normally ride SoCal conditions (Santa monica/Malibu), but I did a road trip and was able to ride the wheels in the Disneyland of Grand Junction, Crested Butte and Aspen so I've had the opportunity to really thrash the wheels in the best riding on earth. I am more than thrilled with these wheels and I would get them again. Spend a little extra and get the crash replacement policy by the way. The staff at Reynolds have been fantastic and have gone out of their way to answer questions and to make everything perfect. In summary, amazing wheels, get them if you can.

Light - my set came in at 1615 g with rim tape and valve stems, Strong - haven't flinched at anything I've thrown at them, Handy - using Stan's with Schwalbe Rocket Ron's; With light rims plus light tires I'm climbing in a gear or two higher than my previous setup which wasn't all that heavy. Have had them only a month so we'll post an update if experience changes.

Graphics weren't my favorite, but they come off easily; now running sealth carbon wheels. Grpahics on the new versions being advertised now with the anno red hubs are fine IMO.

Strong reviews at twentynineinches.com and a serious discount from Colorado Cyclist combined resulted in a new pair of wheels. They are strong (no weight limit) and very accurate laterally but somehow more compliant rolling along and getting over and around stuff. Came with QR and 15mm caps for the front and QR and 135x10 caps for the rear - perfect for my rig and the long climbs around here. Am real happy with these and will strongly recommend assuming they continue to roll without problem.
