DH style, Wire bead Tubeless for safety, UST bead, true size, roundish profile for good volume,
Heavy, but middle of the road weight for DH. So, not really heavy. This tire is 1290grams, my other front tire is not as heavy duty, but seems to work almost as well at 680 grams (geax Gato 2.3 TNT folding bead).
I used this all summer, and I will buy new one for next summer. Similar tread to Maxxis minion DHF at a lower price. This tire is confidence inspiring. Great on front. Easy tubeless setup (this is a wire bead Tnt Tubeless 2.5). This is new favorite tire for all mountain style riding. Side knobs are supportive while you lean your bike over in high speed turns. Robust DH construction and wire beads let you run ridiculous low pressure for a front tire. Center nobby's are soft and do wear out rapidly, but all the sticky tires are like this, and provide great grip. Did not really use in wet (one ride in wet worked great, but I was being a weeny in first storm) of season.
