Strength:

Nothing

Weakness:

Lots of flats because of the same reason: seam splits!

Unless you are using it in a trainer, don't buy it! It's going to screw up your ride during a long ride in the heat! Piece of junk!

Got a flat in the rear tire 3 days and 150K after installation. The seam split. Replaced both with Axiom. Horrible product. If you have these on your new bike, change them immediately.

Strength:

if you're not very good at changing tires, these will give you lots and lots of practice.

Weakness:

they don't hold air. this is a tube's SOLE FUNCTION. This is like a boat that doesn't float or a plane that doesn't fly.

I have tried these tubes 3 times now, because, inexplicably, they are the only ones my LBS sells. On no occasion have these tubes held air for more than 24 hours, and I'm running them in Kenda tires! Thought it was my rim or my riding style or my terrain or in some way my fault, because it is absolutely inconceivable that a product this terrible would actually be marketed by a company of this reputation, but nope. I bought a whole mess of tubes from nashbar for less than $4 each and all but two of them are still sitting in my closet...because the two that i installed are still holding air several months and several hundred miles later.

NONE!

Weakness:

Everything. These tubes came with the bike I just bought, I've only ridden a few times - boom, flat. Patched and aired up - didn't even ride - another flat, fixed that - aired up - another flat. TERRIBLE TUBES. Going to review which tubes are better to have than these. I wouldn't use these tubes if I was sponsored by Kenda.

SH to the ITTY!

Strength:

The tubes are very lightweight. The long valves are bonus when used with certain rims. Nicely packaged in twos. The way they are rolled is perfect for carring in a backpack.

Weakness:

Haven't found a problem yet.

Good tube, great price, awesome weight. Exactly what a tube should be.

Weakness:

don't patch well
occasional valve problems

These are a great deal on a fairly good inner tube. I picked up a dozen of these up at Mt. Snow at $2.00 apiece, and they have served me well. Relatively light weight, good resistance to pinch flats. I have only had 2 pinch flats in 5 months of riding, running about 40 psi for my 195 lbs.
One problem, though, is that on 2 of the tubes, I have had problems with the valves breaking or jamming. Overall, a good tube especially for $2. If you can find a good deal on them, get them.

Strength:

Cheap, light weight, they don't lose air like latex

Weakness:

none really

I have used these over the past two years and they flat no more often then regular butyl. I've had these tubes last 6 months of hard riding without a flat. This is the best way to save weight.

Similar Products Used:

Salsa, lightweight butyl (same tube with gold stem)
Latex stuff
Regular butyl
