    Looks super!

    Weakness:

Quick-release lever "disconnected" itself and the axle popped out.
    Glad that I wasn't jumping!!!
    Expensive, like Syncros is!

I chose Syncros because they develope hardcore products.
The bar, the crankomatics and the headset are perfect
(have them for 3 years now).
    But don't buy this product!!!

    Strength:

    Looks sexy....

    Weakness:

They don't secure the wheels tight enought and it caused my rear wheel to come off slightly. Wow that is dangerous...

The reason for this is because the nut was too difficult to screw in further and this created an impression that you had already reach the maximum point before you lock the level.

Not worth getting it as you are risking your life with this device.

These are very good skewers for the money. I find them easy to open even with cold hands. I off-road toured with these last year and they didn't slip once. I liked the warning etched onto their open side! Take a look!

Overall nice bit of kit. Would recommend them to XCers and trail riders.

    Strength:

    Nice looking. Light.

    Weakness:

Don't hold my wheels tight (What they should be made for !)

I never like to complain, but in fact I was really disappointed by these skewers. I simply don't trust them at all, because my wheels (both front and rear) have slipped out of my dropouts several times (not completely, fortunately for me) since I bought the skewers 6 months ago. And I must point out that I'm no "crazy free-rider" at all ! Sure Syncros have made a beautiful design, they sure look great. But if you don't want to ask yourself each time you ride if you're gonna get out of that trail alive, don't buy these !

    Strength:

As everyone says, these look great. They have a good feel on the fingers when either opening or closing.

    Weakness:

The seat post QR catches my baggies all the time. It gets hairy when the seat isn't there after a good drop.

Real bummer with the Syncros name. I am already $150 out due to the rear QR failing. Lost the wheel on a 6" curb. Trashed rotor, cable, skewer, hangar....the list goes on. I was almost axed from the North Shore the next day!! This wasn't the first time they failed, either. Not a great Syncros product.

cheap price, looks like Kore QRs

The bottom line is this, I would not own a pair, but a close friend received a pair as a gift and we compared them with my Kore skewers. The kore skewers are far superior with better clamping power. The only thing the Syncros skewers have is that they copied the exact nut design of the Kore skewers. Well lets see, Riteway/GT was close to Kore at one time, but now Riteway/GT owns Syncros, so I guess they are using Kore nuts on the syncro skewers. Go figure! Another black eye for the industry

    Sexy,

    Weakness:

Awkward fit with a suspension fork

These skewers are very nice. I have the steel version. They are noticeably lighter than the XT skewers I replaced. They look nice and feel nice and wide. The only thing that would nitpick about is the way they fit on suspension forks. You kind of have to tilt it to either side of the fork to close it completely, but that's a minor point. They kick ass regardless.

I am goint to get another set for my other bike. The lever is well shaped to fit your fingers, and looks very cool with laser cut graphics. I am using the Ti QR set with front and rear hayes disk brakes without any problems. The price is excellent too
