TALAS

First of all to fully appreciate this review I am a 260lb rider and have used this fork for one year almost to the day of the review. I ride cross country and downhill. This fork has about 15 days of double black diamond, black diamond, and some blue trails at Whistler. This has been one of the stiffest and plushest forks I have ever ridden. ( I have had Mara 66, Z1 Freeride, Atom Race etch).

I have about another 100 hours of Pacific NW cross country as well. Great feel like your floating over roots rock an takes big hits and drops no problem.

Considering my weight and riding style this has been an outstanding fork except for one small problem.

Great fork and only recently the Talas travel adjust stopped working. Sent it back to Fox for warranty and had them install float cartridge instead. I didn't want to deal with that again and I never rode it at 140.
