Strength:

Plush, easy to set up. No brake dive.

Weakness:

A little flex. Noisy top-out.

I picked this fork up used for a hundred bucks. I needed a fork with a 1 1/8" steer tube and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I didn't expect it to be a great fork but it has exceeded my expectations in every way. It performs quite good for XC riding and is easy to set up. It doesn't dive under braking. It can flex a little if you push it hard but no more than other XC forks with 9mm dropouts. It's not an all mountain or freeride fork. It makes a "thunk" noise when it tops out (full extension). And although it's a lot longer than the rigid fork it replaced, it hasn't screwed up the bike's handling in any noticeable way. It's reasonably light and well made and I think it will hold up well. The only fork I can compare it with is a Rock Shox Reba SL I had on a different bike. I like this fork better in every way. It's plusher, easier to set up, and doesn't dive under braking.

I don't know if this fork is in production anymore but it would be a good choice for a cheap used fork.
