As an all round racing DH tire, they suck, except for fire roads. But, for a XC front tire, they rule. The missile corners excepionally well, better than any other xc tire. They're a fun free riding tire, but keep out of the mud and off of the wet roots.

These are the best tires on the market. I switched from wimpy Panaracer Duster IIs. What a difference! When I go down steep hills I can actually get traction! My braking and cornering has increased immensly. I can't believe that I rode without them! These tires will also increase your confidence. On my Panaracers, I slid out and ate it really hard. Now, I am confident again and go much faster since I know I will be able to stop without skidding down half the mountain!! I noticed the weight a little bit, but if you are concerned about it, buy Panaracer GreenLite tubes. They will shave off another 50 grams from rotating weight. Five flaming chilies all the way. I wish I could give them six!!!

The best tire I have ever ridden. Excellent in all conditions except mud thats when it starts to pack up. Perfect for the downhiller.

I've used these for a year.
I don't give a shit about what people say, these are the best tyres ever.
They eat shit and DONT die, ie no punctures (even 6 nails)
They grip like a bitch round ya middle on the dry stuff, are consistant on the crumble stuff and grip like a mother on the pete stuff. They do clogg however on really sticky stuff, but hey I've got spikes for that.
In England its pissy wet all the time nearly. And I've given these tyres serious abuse and let the 6 travel sort the job out. The only consideration is that the new rear missile type tyre will be better under breaking.

These tires suck for most downhills, they're only good for ripping down fire roads, but not everybody does that. They suck when they get wet (If someone says they're fine when wet, then they aint riding hard enough), I try to avoid every puddle and muddy section or else I waste time trying to concentrate on what my tires are doing rather than on the trail itself.

This is the best all around DH tire on the market. Works great, predictable cornering in the loose stuff. Only other tire I will race on is the Wild Gripper for courses with few loose turns, which is very rare. It is the most popular tire at the races, so all of us can't be wrong.

I like the Missile but I don't feel that it is by any means the best tire out there. I ndry conditions it is outstanding, but I think it lacks elsewhere. I feel that it has a tendency for the rear to swap under braking, more so than other tirres. Oh, and quit calling Luke Patching a baby, he's right in the rain these are evil.On bone dry courses these tires are great. On wet courses they suck.On in between courses they're okay, but the rear wants too swap a lot.

This is the best tire I have ever ridden! It is a pretty neutral handler, yet has plenty of grip. The only problem is the weight. It can be felt on anything that isn't downhill. I was still considering these for cross country but decided against it. IRC needs a lighter weight cross-country Missle instead of those wimpy Mythos.

Sweet tire. For dry conditions this tire offers the best traction of any tire I have ever riddin. Its not too good in the sticky mud that I ride in now, but this tire will get much use during race season. Weight is a negative.

Strength:

snake bites won't be a problem any more and the weight is low for a downhill tire.and the profile is just one of the best i have ever ride. The look off it is also very nice because the red lines on the site wall of the tire.

Weakness:

there aren't much weaknesses but there is one if i have to be onessly, after a while the tire get some cracks.

I would say buy him if you want a fine dh tire but don't buy it for durability

Similar Products Used:

i'have tried all sort of tires like michelin wildgripper DH and spacialized.
