Strength:

These pedals grip your shoes very well. Unlike the OEM pedals that come on most bikes. Plus these pedals dont cost a ton. The studs are removable and replaceable.

Weakness:

none

i cant complain about these pedals at all. When i first started mountain biking the oem pedals would slip and i would get terrible pedal slap. I saw a rider with pedals like these and ordered a set and liked them right away. I recently ordered a new set for a new bike from PricePoint.com for 60$ and that includes a set of shoes. I like the pedals before but combines with a really stiff shoe they are even better.

Strength:

Good platform size
Really grip well
Lightweight
Stout pins that remove from the backside

Weakness:

None so far

I ordered these through Nashbar.com cause they were so cheap pricewise that is, and lightweight. They claim they weigh 275 per pair but actual weight is 475 gr/pair. Kinda pissed me off but for platforms they're still as light as they come. besides, at 275/pr they would have been as strong as tin foil. All that aside, I really like these pedals. Bearings are smooth and they don't free spin, alot like my Easton Cully's but with pins that are more stout and are removed by a philips screwdriver from the back. Cully's have thin allen screws prone to breaking or bending or shearing off and they're much more expensive. The platform size is not too small, not too big and seem strong enough to endure though only time will tell. And they look good too. Nashbar just raised the price up to $25. but at that price they're still a good deal.
