Still going strong on my Ironhorse sgs pro which is a tank! Easy service. No problems whatsoever. Very plush and easy to install and customize it to your weight. They also look badass. Don't overthink to get them, even in 2020...

Weakness:

I feel like they could be stiffer with another bridge added to the fork. But i have had no problems with stiffnes so far.

Smooth.. I have not managed yet to go over the handlebars. Somehow they manage to pull me out of tricky situations.

Weakness:

They do twist, but I've not noticed this while riding. Came off once and the bike dropped 10 feet off a platform and the forks twisted. Just got out the allen key and no probs. If it was a regular fork it probably would have snapped the arch.

I bought these used and was a bit hesitant as you never can know what kind of abuse it might have had. But I put them on and have never looked back. They are now due for an oil change. But that's all. These seem to be a no fuss fork. Put them on and go and ride and ride and ride. I must admit I do put a little CRC 808 silicon on the stanchions now and then... they are pure butter when I do... seem to love the attention...

Sweet smooth ride. Bullet proof. If tuned right gives you endless travel without bottoming. Stiff as bum in a strip club.

Weakness:

I had to wait for it.

I raced this fork all year and it never gace me a single problem. I had an '01 Shiver that had blown seals and as long as I kept the oil topped up it worked almost as well. They're easy to work on and the simple design means they'll run forever.

they look cool.

Weakness:

everything, its like they are made of rubber, they snap easy, they are built for BMXing. who would use these and like them??

the forks suck, just use some RST 200k, they are cheaper and better. bottom line.

The Shiver is bombproof fork! its an awesome DH fork it takes on anything throw at it. Ive rode a shiver for about 2 years and i know everything about this fork, people who say it flexs, like big woop you dont notice it until you put it between your legs and twist it around like that one guy said a few posts down(props to you man). When you have this fork set up it works soo damn good its also easy to set up too! rebound and preload is easy stuff. I also rode the fork at silver star alot and they have got they fare share of quite a beating. The rest of the bike would need more adjustments then the forks! They jump great the absorb everything and just plain work great! The fork has never leaked once on me yet and still works perfect. (unlike every fox fork)

Weakness:

The one thing that would happen often is the preload knobs would tend to back off after a 10 runs but i remember pretty good where it goes anyway but thats the only problem ive had

The Shiver is a amazing fork! I owned a 2002 Shiver before and i cracked it on the left leg right below the bottom crown, but it was old and had alot of hrs after that incedent i loved shivers so much i went out and bought another shiver getting a 2005 Shiver. The 2005 model is the best looking fork ever made (besides the 888 world cup). If you have the oppertunity to buy this fork get it! The fork looks so sick works soo good and its a rare fork. The best thing is that its Marzocchi which means its very reliable like the rest of there products. 5 out of 5 chilis for sure! Great value and Overall it just kicks A$$!! I just wish Marzocchi would make another shiver with the new technolgy!!

(PS: And for the people writing stupid posts like the A$$hole who said he found it in a dumpster your hurting the rating of such a awesome fork go lie somewhere else)

Great price- $899.00 and I love the inverted design. I also dig the tire clearance in front- I run a 3.0 Nokian up front. These forks also just look sick! They command you to do what you thought you couldn't do before! Now my bike is a point and shoot bike. I KNOW it can take whatever I give to it! The forks give me the added confidence to go where I have not gone before.

Weakness:

"They" say the front wheel flex. I say "they" are stupid. It has not effected me at all. Who stops on a run and puts their front tire between their legs and twists and says See, they flex!?!?" Idiots.

This is a fantastic fork, super plush and was a fantastic addition to my bike!

Strength:

really plush but not springy as some Jr. T set ups. also ramps up nicely in how firm the travel feels as you progress through the stroke of the fork. helping to resist bottoming out. looks so sick with the new decals. inexpensive for an inverted Fork....really adjustable externally, buttery smooth for the trail and firm for the drops

Weakness:

none so far. if you hold the front wheel with your legs and turn the handle bars with your arms, it flexes a lot but I haven't noticed any of that when riding. So I love it

The fork is extremely plush...thats why I chose it over the dorado...(I was looking for an inverted design). a little bit on the heavier side but I can pedal the trails pretty well on it....lifts up on the uphills if they are steep sometimes cause of the hidden travel. recommended highly up there with the 888. Buy it if you are looking for a great feeling inverted design...although its the extreme downhill fork from Zocchi along with the 888 because of the flex that comes with the inverted design (with a 20mm through axle instead of the usual 40mm through axle on the dirtbike inverts) I would not recommend this to people going super super huge...go with the 888 there

Strength:

i tried this thing on my friends 05' stinky. he traded in the drop off triple for it. its soo smooth. way better than the drop off. it can take hits but it is a little soft on the springs. if your an agressive downhiller that takes big hits u should definetely upgrade to stiffer springs. but for me ther perfect, they fit any bike/biker that is takin 10-15 foot drops. any more and you need stiffer springs. other thatn that its perfect for me and what i do.

Weakness:

just the springs really.(for me their just right but for others they need a drastic spring change.)

good for the money but spring should be a bit stiffer. with some x springs in ther its good for any rider.
