Weakness:

Heavy, but not a big deal

I am yet to find the bottom of this thing. I have beat the snot out of it, and It has never ever had any problems. There is not a ton of adjustability, which might bother some people. But end of the day, who needs six adujustments? unless they have a race mechanic to tune their fork. This is a set and forget product, that will make any trailrider, freerider, or light downhiller very happy!

Strength:

plush, solid, strong, stiff have not bottomed out. The way they were set up is perfect

Weakness:

none

No hesitation in recomending to anyone serious in dh freeride riding. 2006 model high crown gives excellent geometry to the front end. They just seem to let the tire flow down the mountain, berms, jumps, rock gardens, loose rocks, it just doesn't matter. Climbing presents little bob on cross country training rides.

Strength:

The rebounding, the plushiness and the value

Weakness:

heavy but who cares

I have owned and ridden this fork on 5 inch travel for xc and 6 inch travel for freeride and occasional downhill for a year now and it is still going strong. It rolls over everything, ie. rocks, tree roots, etc with no problem. It handles corners at high speed very well. I would pay for it in full price ($650) if I didn't get such a good deal from jensonusa.

Everything! Such a sick front fork. My 66vf is lighter and has more travel then my friends 888vf. I beat on my fork and it's been running finr gor a year.

Weakness:

The only adjustability is air which kinda sucks. The fork didnt come with a pump so I have to take my bike into the shop to do my adjusments. No Big. Definetly woth it.

The bottom line is that this is an amazing fork. One of the reasons I bought my SX was because it came with this 66. Im a huge marzocchi fan and the 66 is why. I Use my fork for trail riding, FR, and DH. Just an amazing front fork.

A great overall fork. Good for washington riding. Exact same thing as a 888vf, but has more manuverability. its also lighter then the 888. very plush with 7in. of travel. Soaks up all the bumps and drops.

Weakness:

None at all

A great fork. same goodness as 888, because they are exactly the same, and better in some ways. If you downhill or extreme freeride alot, go for the 888. If you trail ride, and freeride, and occasional downhill, go for the 66.

This is a super strong single-crown fork. A good alternative to an 888 or Boxxer for people who want single crown. Hasn't failed me yet. I would buy this fork again.
