Strength:

The bike is a sweet deal if you ride on and off road. It is really light and has decent shimano altus and ritchey components. The paint job is hot. The seat is comfortable. I also like the geometry. Its a good bike if you don't want to spend a lot but want to ride a looker that has quality components. I get complements all the time.

Weakness:

Im the kinda guy that likes to do trails. This bike lacks a shock that can handle any off roading. The shock is actually pretty much useless because it has like no travel and is too stiff to soak up any bumps on the road. Also, the Kenda tires are too flat and have no tread for offroading. You get no traction when climbing. My shimano rapid-fire shifters stick sometimes (prolly cause i shift too much) and the promax brakes get weak after some time.

The bike is cool if you don't have a lot of money to spend and you want a good-looking quality bike. It can't handle anything heavy duty, especially offroad. Bottom line, if you want a quality rig to cruise the neighborhood and occasionally ride bike paths and trails, the Fuji Odessa is for you. If you wanna do XC, i'd add some Hayes or Avid hydros, Maxxis ignitors, and a shock that has some decent travel like a XC marzocci bomber or rock shox. I don't really know how many flamin chilis to give it cause it depends on your style so i give it 5. Im out to buy a better bike PEACE.

Strength:

Sharp looking, smooth ride, quality brakes, fork, frame, gears

Weakness:

Stock treads are more of a hybrid type, work great for roading around town and off-road for a bit, if you're going to need more traction for intense trails I'd replace the tires. Chain fell of going up hill but it's because I worked the rapid fire shift a bit too fast.

As I mentioned, this bike is top of the line if you are looking for a bike to get you around town, it is light and fast. You can go out on a trail with it but it's not the best bike for an all-day trail ride. Great value.
