Don’t get the hard impact of the roots and rocks and holes on the trail feels like a dirt bike shock

Weakness:

Climbing with it and going fast right away it just absorbs a lot dirt bike shocks on a bike is really only best for down hill

Strength:

Its well developed, unkillable, great working and very easy to maintean fork. Perfect for REALLY HARD downhill and offroad (off-track) mountain freeride. And, of coarse, it looks really cool. inspires excitement and respect.

Weakness:

Its too heavy (not sure this is weakness), and its very hard to find some spare parts for it because of rareness.

Its a Mazzocchi, super strength, looks awsome, 200mm travel etc etc

Weakness:

Havent found any

I got tired of wet noddle forks so decided on a Monster. This is a awsome fork, trees now get out of my way. It rides remarkably light. The front/steering of my bike feels soo much better and more precise. Matches the rear travelperfectly.

Bottom line get one,

Weakness:

OVERPRICED like all mountain bike parts, but you'll get your money's worth outta this one.

This fork absorbs all the stress, my eyes dont rattle anymore at high speeds. Marzocchi makes the best mountain bike forks, seals last unlike other previous forks that i have wasted my money on(non-marzocchi).

Stout. Last week I did almost 8' to flat concrete and busted a spoke on my Trailpimp. Bottom? Not even close! I went downhilling at Killington Vt. and this fork just ate everything. Aparantly nothing except Avalanche holds a light to this fork for bottom out resistance.

Weakness:

I'm having a not too pleasant knocking sound when I roll over stuff straight on(headset's not loose and all the crown and arch bolts are tight and lock-tighted). Also Marzocchi had a discrepency between the blueprints they gave to Hope and the finished fork. I spent almost a week on the phone trying to find out why my calipers would not fit to the rotor with the adapter. Eventually a tech at Hope found out that the prints didn't match up with the actual fork when Hope recived it. They needed to make a new 218mm rotor in order for the calipers to grab the rotor in the right spot. No one at Zoke knew how to resolve it and no one got back to me to see if they could help, or if there was something they should know after I got my rotor.

Super sweet fork. Can't say enough about it. Will take anything you can give it. Your body will give out before the fork will. BUT, Marzocchi customer service BLOWS! I had a bad deal with them about my Shiver when I first got it. Now this crap obout how no one knows anything about how to resolve the problem with my caliper not fitting the fork because they [email protected] up is just completly out of hand. I've talked to a few other shops and i'm hearing just about the same thing from most of them. Maybe it's isolated to just my area, but I doubt it. Hopefully they smarten up, but it's too late for my case 'cause next fork I'm buying is an Avalanche. The low onerall Chili rating is for the service, not the fork!

MONSTER
Nuff Said. This thing is like a skidder in the woods. It knocks down trees. I slam into jagged rocks, plow over anything in its path and it just keeps going.

Weakness:

Rebound/Compression H/L have little effect for slow trailriding. Seem to only affect the bottom end of the travel. I have switched to 10W oil as well and no difference. I'm not sure the adjusters do anything at all, but Marz says that it only really affects big hits and such.

This thing rocks. I could give 2 F's about the weight. Too many pansies out there. I pedal this pig of a stinky everywhere. Uphill, downhill. Yeah it's heavy, but isn't it reassuring knowing you could pedal right through a brick wall if need be. This think is just AWESOME. I will not ever use any fork again for a big-hit bike besides the MONSTER. I don't care how much it weighs. I'd even use it for DH if I raced DH. AWESOME fork. 1 Star for Marzocchi for their lack of a technical manual for this fork.
