Strength:

Cheap

Weakness:

Poorly designed. Padding poorly positioned.

Chamis padding is way too far forward, it all bunches up in your crotch and does not cover your site bones.

These would be good unicycling shorts. Buy something else for bicycling.

Strength:

Well Made, Fabulous Customer Service, Comfort, Colors don't fade, Well Made, you pay less than you would expect for the Quality. Best Bang for the Buck

Weakness:

NONE

I am surprised that there were no Jersey reviews for Pace because they are top notch. The Shorts are great also as well as the helmet liners. The padding is superb and you don't get the bunched-up, pinched out seam squeeze like you do on some of the others. Overall I would recommend anything Pace. I have been using Pace for over nine years and have not had a problem. So you are going to see five (count em five) road killed muskrats in both categories. Let them eat Cake.

Strength:

Comfort, fit, padded, friction-free materials, stays dry. Attractie sharkskin/two-tone finish. Just right tightness around the lower quad -- ie not too much not be noticed.

Weakness:

None so far

I have the 6-panel ITS and they rock. (Size XL works for my 208 lbs/36" waist, hard-packed mogul-shaped rear end!) which I wore under a pair of Quiksilver baggies which do cling a bit to the shorts which appear to be designed to be worn on their own. Good for race, XC, agressive XC, road and cruising. Freeriders would probably prefer more protection.

Padding appears to be soft chamois covered by a by well-positioned absorbent mesh.

Comfort, fit, appropriately padded, friction-free materials, Stays dry in sweaty conditions and seems to wick moisture away somewhat. (Temp was 80 degs and humid)

Product literature is a blast. ITS stands for Ischial Tuberosity Support for your sit bones, but equally importantly there's a specially designed contoured cup in the frontal area of the pad to keep the family jewels in place and prevent chafing. I was amazed at the comfort there. You end the ride feeling good instead of numb, with dangle to your angle, instead of the traditional net reduction in volume and sensitivity.

Strength:

initial comfort, longevity

Weakness:

pad in WRONG spot!

I have tried the its 500, the 'top of the line' ones. these shorts would be great if the padding was a couple of inches further back to where the sitbones would be. I purchased 4 pairs and they are all the same. Friends say the same... Be fine if you stood all day, but as soon as you sit down... wrong!
