Strength:

Good protective qualities... quite comfortable ... well recessed cleats

Weakness:

Styling kinda blah.

Northwave Rockers were my very first pair of cycling shoes. I have somewhat wide feet and really didn't want to spend a lot of money. After doing quite a bit of research regarding the fit of lots of MTB shoes, I settled on the Rocker, and I'm glad I did. Compared to sneakers, which I was previously wearing on my rides, the soles are nice and stiff, but not so much that you can't walk comfortably. They also offer a good deal of protection for your feet out on the trail. Overall, even though I do realize that they are entry level shoes, I'm quite satisfied with Northwave and with the Rockers in particular. All in all, they represent quite a good value.
