Strength:

Tough fabric and unique graphics

Weakness:

Single material used for the entire jersey. No mesh or any advanced technical construction used.

I ride mostly XC and these hold up very well against the extreme tropical offroad elements. So despite of people's opinion that Primal is all about style and nothing else, I'd have to say even the top models jerseys from other brands don't fit and hold up as well as these for XC. They are also quite cool even for the black ones. I'd say cooler than meshed jerseys under direct sunlight. They're a bit expensive considering you can get top models from other brands discounted online but in the real world usage, they rank among the top.

Strength:

Nice material, and I like the designs because I can usually see gapers coming from a half mile away with their *#@$ primal wear designs.

Weakness:

Appearance, the seam started coming apart right below the zipper.

This was given to me as a gift, otherwise I would never own a primal jersey, the fabric is comfortable if you can stand the awful graphics. It is coming apart after only a few rides, but I think this one is probably just defective.

Strength:

looks, fabric, sweat wicking, hidden zipper,

Weakness:

maybe price, but worth it

This is the best jersey on the market today. This keeps you dry, and makes you look like a preditor on the trails. I have FEEDING FRENZY, the shark one. The hidden zipper is great, because there is no stripe down the front of the jersey to take away from the design. it does seem a little weak though. price in stores is through the roof. look online.

Strength:

*design*, quality, working as specified

Weakness:

zipper movement near collar

Very cool designs - the best I've found over internet, they look especially cool paired with adequate Primal shorts (and/or socks). (I've even custom-painted my helmet in red/orange/yellow to match 2Hot2U jersey design...)

The only drawback is hidden zipper, which after year of heavy use went broke near collar (there're three layers of fabric and zipper motion was always obstructed there)
I've fixed the problem with sewing machine and new zipper - but it required my effort, so 4 Chilis instead of 5

Strength:

Graphic designs, color, construction quality, high tech fabrics

Weakness:

still looking

There are two types of riders in the world. Those who have already discovered the absolutely unbeatable product at Primal Wear, and those who have yet to discover it! They're stuff isn't cheap, but I guarantee you won't be disappointed. It took me a while to make that first buy, but after that first time there will be no other bike clothing for me.

I thought their 2002 high tech fabric was awesome, but the new (2003) stuff will leave your mouth agape. I tried a new jerseys in Moab this month, in high temps and wearing a loaded CamelBack Hawg. Thanks to the jersey, the heat/sweat was a NON ISSUE!

Their anotomically correct design/construction makes fitting any physique easy. Their sizes might run just a tad on the small size, however.

Neither the internet or Primal's catalogue do their designs justice. You have to see their stuff to appreciate it.

Lastly, I've seen comments on this site suggesting larger zippers would be helpful. Huh? Hey, gang! The zipper should be hidden, and Primal's are invisible. Yet even my ham fists can find the tang to pull it up before a smoking downhill run.

Take the plunge, you won't regret it.

Strength:

Great fit. I'd almost wear my jerseys as regular clothes. They really wick away the sweat and keep you as cool as possible. That's important down here in Tennessee. And the looks! Man, these jerseys look awesome. Never fails to attract compliments.

Weakness:

None. Well, they are expensive.

A great jersey. A bit expensive, but I don't regret buying two of them. Try 'em. You'll like 'em. 5 flamin' chihuahuas for the overall, but I gotta give it 4 for value. 80 bucks?

Weakness:

A little Pricey

Primal wear Jerseys are great. Their high quality and great designs keep you cool and looking good while out on the trail. They are the only high quality jersey that doesn't have a company name written all over it. Plus they are always coming out with new, wacky, colorful designs.

Comfortable, keeps me a lot cooler, looks great, wicks the sweat off!

Weakness:

Have to beat women off with tire pump due to how sexy I look in my Jersey. Okay. I wish.

Great Jersey. Keeps me cooler, can keep powerbars or whatever in back pocket, they look cool, etc. I have the 2 Hot 4U, the one with the Gecko on it and the red white and blue flames. It would be nice if one of the pockets in the back had a zipper for keys or cell phone, but I just put em in my Camelbak anyways. Comfortable.

Awesome colors and designs. Primal Wear changes designs frequently, so this is almost like buying limited editions. I love the fit and feel of their jerseys, a lot more than others I have worn.

Weakness:

They are not cheap....but then neither is any decent jersey

Hey...if you are going to buy a jersey, and don't want to look like a billboard for a bike company, this is the way to go. These jerseys (I have 3 of them) are the best fitting most durable I own. I always felt Castelli's were a bit "fragile" and Primal Wear definately holds up. I love the designs....they just seem to fit my attitude!

If your wondering....don't....just buy one and try it!

Great fit, quality, designs, keeps me cool too!

Weakness:

None for many years now.

I have owned various designs of the Primal Wear jersys for many years now. Still love them. The graphics are great, the fit is spot on, the removal of sweat is great too. Can't wait for next years release of new graphics.

Did I forget to mention they are really tough for the normal XC guy or gal? Well they are!
