Gore Bike Wear Xenon SO Men's Jackets

Gore's Xenon SO Jacket blurs the lines between jersey and jacket. It layers on like an insulated jersey, but blocks the wind with all the effectiveness of a nylon jacket. The key element is the Gore Windstopper Soft Shell construction. The Soft Shell fabric stretches and moves with your body like the best jerseys. It's because of this extreme mobility that Gore can cut the panels to create a snug, form fit for the Xenon SO Jacket. With that in mind, the cut is optimized for best fit when you're on the bike. The sleeves are pre-articulated to accommodate a natural, relaxed bend at the elbows, and the tall collar has an ergonomic design with a shallow crescent shaped relief so it won't bunch on the back of your neck when you're fully zipped and in the drops.Due to the effectiveness of the Windstopper membrane, the folks at Gore have included some zippered vents to give you the ability to moderate your temperature. Two zippers flank the torso and allow a huge amount of air to flow into the jacket when fully unzipped. Their positioning also works well when you might want to keep the main zipper up to thwart a frontal blast but let some cool air creep into the sides and around your back. The forearms bear zippers that run from the cuff towards the elbow. In addition to allowing venting for your arms, they make it that much easier to get your hands through the form-fit sleeves. The Xenon SO Jacket has the standard three pockets on the back. The outer two are angled down towards the outsides for easier access to your stash. And a zippered fourth pocket is semi-hidden on the middle pocket. It provides secure storage for credit cards or keys that you wouldn't want to jiggle out mid-ride. The Gore Xenon SO Jacket is available in Red/black and Black/black and comes in five sizes from Small to XX-Large. The extra long tail has gripper elastic so it won't shift around when you've got loaded pockets on a long ride. Reflective elements on the shoulders and back will help keep you visible to motorists in low light situations.
