This has been my lid of choice for commuting and weekend social rides for 14 years. I have more expensive helmets for hotter days and sportive/Audax rides but, for the rides I use it for, the differences are barely noticeable. The internal padding and chin strap clip are starting to look a little tired as is some of the exposed styrofoam at the bottom of the helmet but, given the use (both whilst on my head, and upside down holding food, tyre repair items, phones, wallets, and keys whilst I'm off the bike) its had, its durability has been exceptional. Its survived many a trip in fairly Foul weather and done a good job in protecting my scone in a number of low speed tumbles. Its outlived a Limar Helmet (that admittedly had a couple of higher impact falls) by a considerable margin and I would be confident of it doing its job if its on my head the next time I have a fall.

    Strength:

Cool, looks good and nice colours

    Weakness:

retention system starts to slip after about 6 months of ownership and the pads are comfy at first but after about a yeah they start to fall apart.

this is a great helmet but after a years hard riding it starts to wear out and the pads need replacing but apart from that its a nice lid

A very nice lid that keeps your head cool and very good value for money at £26.99. Basically this is a good helmet if you are on a budget and need a nice fitting helmet for good value!

This is my second one. The first was destroyed in a head-banging accident - it really saved my life. Worth any money :-))

Nice styling, comfy fit, plenty of adjustable straps/pads

    Weakness:

not many air vents, but hey I live in England where the temp rarely gets above 25oc

Nice helmet for the cash, better than any of the competition for this price. Not many vents so if you are riding in hot area then this maybe isn't the right helmet for you. I haven't had any problems with this lid so far and it comes in a selection of funky colours to boot!

Great looks, molded shell looks great
Excellent fit - way better than any Bell, Giro

    Weakness:

Not as many cooling ducts as Bells, but who cares???
Why the hell would you have holes in the visor???

Great helmet - excellent looks (well, red & yellow are the only colours available), & it fits very well (kinda like your baseball cap - multi-adjustable & 1-size-fits-all), good cooling (though hasn't been used in heatwave). Hey, great looks is all that matters!

This helemet (bad boy II) was recommended by the LBS when i purchased the bike. To date the helmet has performed admirably in all condtions, you may even forget you're wearing it (even saved my melon a couple of times). During the hot weather we've had lately the ventilation seemed to allow most of the heat to escape & sweat didn't run into my eyes. Buy it if you value your skull & don't have a load of cash to blow.
