Strength:

Light, good-looking, strong, shifts quickly

Weakness:

Cheap paint job (wears off easily)

This is a great crank that you can sometimes get for around $125.00. I upgraded with the 2013 model from the stock crank, which was a Shimano with a steel outer ring. The one thing I noticed about the X7 was the quickness and sure-feeling of the shifting, and the reliability of the quality shifts. The supplied GXP bottom bracket and the 7075 chainrings means that I lost about a pound of weight on the upgrade.
One of the main reasons I bought this crank was the fact that it is not black. It is rather dark grey.
I wish SRAM would offer cranks in polished silver. I've had it about a year and a half (about 700 miles) and have not had to change any of the chainrings yet.
One star detracted because not made in U.S.A.
