None what so ever...

Weakness:

Serious durability issues!

Busted bearing after only 6 months of mainly on-road riding? "Performance Products"? That's gotta be "Poor Performance Products". What a joke!

My old Race Face BB lasted almost 3 years and 6000 km - this one died after half a year.

This BB is a genuine POS. Do not buy!

None, zero, and zip.

I suppose if you cup your fist around it and nailed someone in a fight, you'd probably put him down for good. But that's true for all BB and should not be viewed as a reason for purchase.

Weakness:

Lasts about 3 months if you ride your bike during that time; maybe longer if your bike just sits inside a dry, hermetically -sealed vacuum chamber.

Seriously, though, this is the 2nd of these I've gone through in less than 2 season of pretty average riding. First one went crunchy inside; second one pedals like it's full of Gorilla Glue.

RaceFace really took a piss when they went to splined. This was my last purchase from them until they either return to the original design or improve their external BB design, which I understand to be simply another horrendous POS. Shimano is a giant, but it's a giant that works. Too bad, RF used to be a good company, but brand loyalty is tough to sustain when the products don't measure up.

RF deserves to be boycotted for this slap in the face to loyal customers. Stay away from RF's splined junk even if you find it cheap on eBay...there's a reason it's there.

Splines and bearing seals.

This ISIS BB sucks. One wet weather ride was all it took to cause the BB to seize. I also noticed that the splines cannot with-stand the installation-removal-installation of the crank arms. The non-drive side crank arm would develope play after every ride after re-installing cranks. I have since replaced this BB w/the Bontrager Race Lite ISIS BB and have had no such problems. I shipped the bad BB back to Race Face five weeks ago and have not yet received a replacement.

Weakness:

Their lack of customer service is what causes me to write this. I feel their product has some very minor flaws in the way their cranks are centered on the bottom bracket and this causes (on my bike atleast) an issue with it either getting very tight or loosening up on a ride. I've replaced the bottom bracket and adjusted it according to the instructions on the Race Face website. Finally I emailed Race Face and asked for some direction and a couple of the spacer washers that are used on their cranks. I was told "Bring it to your local bike shop this may be a warranty issue" I explained to them that this was not an option as my ride was planned for the weekend and it would take too long for the bike shop to fix it. I asked again, could you guys please send me a couple of washers and tell me how to set it up. Again I was basicly given the finger. I went directly to my local bike shop and purchased an XT crank and put it on last night. It's smooth, strong and I know if there is an issue I can be assured of it being handled in a positive manner. Their products may be great but their customer service is what will prevent me from purchasing anothe Race Face product in the future.

I'm not going to support a company who doesn't support thier customers. Choose to do what you want but I think there are similar products out there and I'm sure their customer service is better, it has to be.

Looks nice

Weakness:

Poor customer Service, weak chain rings

I had my LBS install the Raceface Evlove XC Crank and BB, worked great for a few rides on a local trail, nothing crazy, and no massive cranking on it.
Took it to the 24 hours in the old pueblo, rode 2 laps, and then found that I have a chip on one tooth in the middle chain ring. Called Raceface, left a message after going to their website, which the links DO NOT WORK. After calling back myself a second time Raceface said that I have to have my LBS call and stand by their work and I have to prove its defective. That is a bit excessive, since its been on the bike only 3 weeks now, to me it spells crappy materials used in the manufacturing process. I only replaced the crank and the BB on the Trek because it was OE and 6 years old and the BB was gritty etc, but that original Acera (bottom of the Shimano products) held up better.

Bottom bracket did not flex much under load.

Weakness:

Lasted 7 months before falling to bits.

The bottom bracket worked well at first, but has not lasted very long. When I removed it from the bike, there was a 5mm hole in the case of one of the cartridge bearings and all of the ball bearings were falling out.

This product is astonishingly bad. I have raced, trained and commuted 300 000km in my lifetime and never has a BB failed on me within 3 months. I did not race it, I didn't even train on it, simply commuted. After 3 months it started grinding, I pulled it out and found that it was cracked in several places! Luckily the guys at Bruce's gave me a free replacement. I cannot recommend this product for anything not even weekend fun.

solid, cranks never loosened up on me and I hammer the crap outta my bike (dirt jumping, rock dropping, flatland-concrete drops etc.) this is the best BB I have ever had!

Weakness:

great friggin BB-couldn;t ask for better-the other reviewer must have had a bad day or bought it used or the mechanic who installed it did not space it properly (probably what happened). I am a bike mechanic at a local bike shop and I haven't seen much better BB's for the weight and cost-again mine was used but if you know what to look for and how to spot a damaged one, you won't have problems.

ISIS, large spindle, stiff, bearings are good sealed.

Weakness:

When you are driving in mud to your knees, not so pleasant noises are heard. In other words: seals (not bearing seals) could be better.

I would be happy if it was a little more easy to disassemble the hole thing.

ISIS, Good Warranty (You'll need it)

Weakness:

BB lasted about 400kms!! then off for warranty, bought a signature series and when this one came back from warranty it went in and the signature went out for warranty

If you are ok with sending out your BB for warrranty, paying S&H they you can have a lifetime of BB's but you will need spare as a backup
