Strength:

Super soft. Great groove in the center. Decent price.

Weakness:

Looks really big. Weight.

I went from my WTB Speed V saddle (stock on the bike) to this because the WTB was unbearably uncomfortable. Now, bear in mind, I'm a VERY skinny guy (5'6", 110lbs) so this made my butt ache. I think if you were a "normal"-sized person or slightly larger, this saddle would be awesome. Because I'm not, I opted for something REALLY comfortable and this was it! SUPER comfortable. I can now go for more than 1 hour without ANY pain (last ride was 2+ hours straight!). Highly recommended for skinny riders who want to ride for prolonged periods of time. :)

I'm still looking for the perfect saddle. This saddle is great in a few respects--Very cushy and the hole/split is terrific. Great design for women. I tried it on a 50 mile ride. Overall I give it a 4 for no significant pain on long rides---a huge bonus!

Plush,

Weakness:

Heavy,

As soon as you sit on it you reallise why you bought this saddle. It is soft in all the right places, great if you're doing long commutes or some such. I weigh 220lbs and after some larger hits on the trail the seat rails bent, quite a bit, one would almost call it painful.

Strength:

COMFY! Groove down middle reduces numbness greatly.

Weakness:

Surface sticks to loose shorts.

For a 270 pound rider I needed something wider and softer. This seat is the answer to my needs. I went on one dirt ride last week and found myself going further than usual due to increased comfort. Also went on a 36 mile road ride(on the mountain bike) and had no problems. Definetly recommending this product to anyone in the market for a new seat!

Comfortable, period.

Weakness:

None of significance to me.

This seat is comfortable even on long rides--40 miles+. That's more than can be said for most seats. Thanks, Serfas!

Strength:

Takes away the numbness of long rides.

Weakness:

None yet.

I first bought the Specialized version and felt like I was sitting on a brick. I'd been using the Sefra regular gel seat which I liked so decided to try the RX version and was impressed. If you're worried about protecting yourself you should check out this seat!

Strength:

True, I experienced no genital numbness while the seat lasted. The blood kept flowing and the perineal nerve was uncompressed. Yay!!

Weakness:

I broke the seat. I mean, while riding off of a fairly small drop, I bent one of the rails out of shape which broke some of the supporting plastic around the side and back. This made me none to happy. So, back I went to the original saddle, experiencing a little genital numbness until I think of what to do next.

I liked the seat while it worked but was mightily, mightily dissappointed by the breakdown after what I would definitely call moderate use. If I replace it with another like minded saddle, I think I will also either get the women's version (it appears to be narrower and less chunky) or another brand with better rails. Sorry!

Strength:

Great Price. Very soft and comfortable. Buy it if total comfort is what your after. Don't buy it if you like to slide way off the back.

Weakness:

Too wide in the back for steep downhill trails but still very comfortable. You don't need a suspension post with this saddle.

I used this saddle on my commutng bike - paved and gravel trails and potholed streets (25 mi/day) for about a year. This inexpensive saddle has its applications. It would be best for short jaunts around town on a hybrid or mountain bike. It is extremely plush and comfortable with a wide seat but after about 10 miles, it is uncomfortable - too much padding. It has good adjustability. The cover sticks to clothing and has worn off. It was much more comfortable than the stock saddle that came with my bike so I could recomend it as a comfortable upgrade to an inexpensive stock saddle. I've since replaced it with a Bontrager FS2000 WSD.

super comfortable but really big and wide in back-- makes it hard to go behind the seat during treacherous downhill. still, most comfortable saddle I've ridden. 4 flaming muskrat carcasses.
