Strength:

Cartridge bearings, smooth operation, strength

Weakness:

a touch heavy

I installed this on my Kona Coiler frame, wanting bulletproof reliability. It has succeeded PERFECTLY, since it's been over a year and half with NO attention. I can feel the extra weight of the headset, but I don't care, since I'm a Clyde.

Strength:

Bearing preload and centering is solid. Oversized bottom bearing. Replaceable sealed bearings.

Weakness:

Heaving, but it is made of steel.

I needed a headset that could take greater forces brought about by a longer travel fork and jumping. This did the trick. I couldn't seem to tame my Chris King headset...always had a bit of play.
