DESCRIPTION
The ultimate full-suspension racing bike is here. Using Orbea’s incredible knowledge of composites and alloys we have created a bike that gets 3 inches of travel and weighs pounds less than the competition. The Oiz front triangle is built from a proprietary scandium-enhanced tubeset that is tuned to balance weight and efficiency. The rear uses an amazingly light carbon chainstay that flexes to give the Oiz its travel. It is a design that uses the natural properties of carbon to minimize drivetrain and brake influence on the suspension.

Climbs like a space shuttle
None that I can think of.
The guy from Greece is entitle to his opinion, and every story has two sides, but I am extremely impressed with this frame. It turns like great in tight stuff, and decends well enough to give plenty of cross country racing confidence. I have noticed the way the rear end is set up it tends to foster no suspension bob out of the sandle climbing. The only thing that bumbs me out is that they are about to release a full carbon version. It is not a comfortable suspension setup, but I did not want comfort, I wanted and efficient race bike and that Orbea has more than delivered on my hopes.

Very light and perfect for XC racing. Climbs very well.
Remote lockout for rear shock difficult to use. Not alot of standover for 17" frame size.
I think the other reviewer may have an axe to grind with his local dealer. That's a shame, because this is an excellent frame for XC racing and it is plenty stiff for what I have ridden so far. Can't speak for long-term durability yet, but will post a detailed review after spending more time on it. This bike climbs great and responds very quickly in tight singletrack. It is not quite as confident downhill as my Yeti AS-R, but climbs better in most situations.

It is light
Expensive, Flexy, unreliable
This bike is just for the shop window. Ok, of you are a poser & you have the extra cash go & get it.
But in the real world this bike just can't handle the abuse of a XC race, especially in the rocky terrain of Greece.
The bike is handling like if the whole frame is twisting from every axle possible.... Thisis especiall notisable when turning hard in high speed or if you'll try to clear a rocky section.
Also, very Imporant:
ORBEA's dealer in Greece should be your last choise of a bike shop. These guys have nothing to do with... biking!
Bad (really bad) altitude
Bad service
No support at all for the products they import.
My advice.
IF YOU HAVE TO HAVE A ORBEA JUST DON'T GET IT FROM CYCLIST.GR. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Lightweight full suspension bike, excellent climbing, excellent acceleration for a fully, good stability, stiffness of the frame, no pedal kick back
Limited slope of the frame, limited space between rear tire and the frame
The stiffness and the acceleration of the bike are superb and with the 85 mm rear suspension you can remain seated on technical trails. This is an excellent bike for marathons or technical XC racing. In addition you have lifetime guarantee of the frame.
I have always had excellent service of my LBS and I cannot understand the complaints of the Greek bikers.
