Strength:

Great deal for the money. Decent entry level mountain bike. Strong frame.

Weakness:

Alivio Derailleur should be upgraded. Rims aren't outstandingly stong but they're decent for XC.

The bike is pretty good for an entry level mountain bike. It was my first real mountain bike and it has held up well to the punishment i put it through. I'm sure its a good XC bike but i've also done a good bit of jumping on it up to 5' drops. My rims have been trued multiple times and my bottom bracket is starting to break but thats due to hard hits. The bike has held up surprisingly well but i'm upgrading to a Cannondale Prophet so i wont break this bike any more. I intend on keeping the bike for a trail bike specifically.

Strength:

Value for the dollar.

Weakness:

Pedals,

I ride mostly on weekends, a combination of road and trail, fist thing I did was to swap the stock tires for a set of Semi's. Trashed the pedals for a set of Shimano SPD,s. I love this bike, it has a good feel, light weight and responsive. The Shimano Alivio derailers tend to need a lot of adjusting, particularly after a hard ride. The Disk brakes provide good stopping power and have kept me from a couple of close calls with obstacles and cars. The front fork has plenty of travel but I had to set it to the hardest setting for my 200lb frame. This is a good bike for the money for an entry level rider, or a light trail rider. I will be looking to upgrade to Deore derailers, and possibly a Manitou fork down the line as these wear out, over all I am very happy with this bike.

Strength:

Good price, components, decent weight.

Weakness:

fork isnt too hot (sc60), needs maintnence quite often to run as expected.

The fuji thrill was my first mountain bike. It impressed me and is fairly light with good components. The fork isnt really that good, so if you want better, yo u gotta pay more.
The only problem ive had with this bike is bad tubes that came with it but i think my LBS screwed that up. Also if the rear derallier gets crud in it gears skip alittle.

Good bike for the price. I'm giving it 4 chilies because its nothing great but a great bike for a beginner who wants something durable enough to do alittle of everything.

Strength:

7005 aluminum frame, F/R disc brakes, light-weight great value for price!

Weakness:

For the price none noted.

I am getting back into riding for exercise, and for me this is a excellent entry-level bike! To me the components are ok I've had no problems. The light-weight, and the disc brakes make riding far more enjoyable! An excellent value for the money! The frame is awsome, good components, and it makes riding fun again! A great entry-level bike for anyone!

Strength:

Cool frame. The "S" curves in the chain stay and seat stay are stiff and asthetically pleasing

Weakness:

Not too crazy about the fork, but for less than $500 bike it is OK

I've only had the bike 3 weeks, but I've been riding a couple times a weeks so I put at least 75 or so trail miles on the bike in addition to a little cruising on the pavement. The Thrill is a solid bike and the disk brakes work much better than I expected for a lower end setup. Great deal for a hardtail under $500. The fork (Suntour XC60) is the weak link. If you need a better fork, buy a more expensive bike.

Weakness:

Everything the frame bent. The discs dont even work anymore the forks are shot if i manual and land they will bottom out. Dont get this bike if u even want to get 3 ft of air. just get a Giant STP 3 its the same price but can take a beating

Dont get this bike if your a side walk cruiser go for it. but if u want to catch some air here and there go for the giant stp 3 . Im saving up for the cannondale Chase 2 Happy riding
