Strength:

Great for intermediate/advanced rider, no complaints on climbing, braking, maneuvering, etc. Shifting is exceptionally smooth. Shock lockout definitely comes in handy (thought I'd rarely use it). Frame is tough- a few really good bashes to the bottom bracket shell and seat tube haven't compromised the frame integrity. Two major endo's too (one crash landing and the other front wheel slamma jamma stick in the spokes).

Weakness:

Stock components on the heavy side. Also, felt like my center of gravity was a bit high in the beginning. At 6'2" a large frame is good for me but took a little getting used to (I had ridden medium frames almost exclusively until the Fuji's and medium's always felt short!).

Great bike for weekend warrior plus rider.

Good climbing frame.

Weakness:

Not much for the price

I have basically upgraded virtually all stock components. The Tahoe SL Frame might be the last one to go. I don't know when but I don't think it would be that soon. I just couldn't get rid of the frame even though I've got enough dough for a better & lighter ones out there.

Got it as a frameset in a box. This is my all time favourite XC race frame with good geometry. Frame is light and rock solid. Handling is superb+fast and this frame will enable you to smoke other bikers during climbs for sure!

Weakness:

None so far after two years.

This review is useless if you do not have a pair of strong legs to pedal fast. Get it if you wish to use it for XC race. :)

Sees like a great set up - very light and durable. Good components and the recon fork is awesome.

Weakness:

Nothing major thus far - maybe the brakes, have had trouble keeping them from rubbing.

This is my first xc bike, but I have been riding it on single track 2-3 days a week since I got it just under a year ago. So far I like it a lot, have had no major issues and haven't noticed any issues with the paint job. I would definately recommend it.

Sweet looking ride. This bike is very responsive, nimble, and oh so quick. Its a blast to ride for sure. One of the few bikes that brings a big smile to my face each and every time i take it out for a trail ride. Very nice paint finish, a real head turner, get lots of compliments all the time. Hydraulic brakes is a plus. The fork has a remote control on the bar to allow for quick adjustment to your fork. Ohhhh yeeeahhh.

Weakness:

None

If you want a sweet rig that simply performs like few others and better than all at this price range, then test this bike. You have to. Once you test ride it, you are going to buy it and love it. Also has a lifetime warranty on the frame.

Absolutely fantasti bike to ride. It is extremely lightweight and flat out flies when you give it even a bit of effort. Paint job is killer. I have lent this bike out to some friends who I ride with and they have crashed it pretty hard a few times and nothing. No paint chip, no peeling, nothing. Very impressed. Very good components. It gets lots of compliments from other riders. Absolutely love the remote lock on the fork. Sweet.

Weakness:

None

This is a great bike. It is priced right and gives you a lot of fun and bang for the money you dish for it. Highly recommend this bike to others. You won't regret it.

Strength:

The bike is extremely lightweight and is very easy to ride.
the SL (topshelf) model has great components.
The forks are better than most cross country riders will ever need and quite lightweight - they ave a good feel, lockout and a surprising bottoming out resistance.
the running gear is pretty sweet, all sram stuff which lasts a lifetime and works well.
The avid juicy 3's are adequate for this kin of riding and have a nice progressive feel.

Weakness:

The head stem (positions the handlbars in front of the bike) is a tad long for my style of riding, I swapped it over for something about 20mm less to make it easier to wheelie, jump etc.
the paint is ratsh!t, so long as you just accept that it wont last you'l be fine

for what you will pay, i dont think you can find a bike as lightweight, strong and with such good components.
fuji also offer a lifetime warranty on the frame which ensure you can go hard and not worry about possible damage

Looks great, light weight. Dirt cheap

Weakness:

The paint is like a plastic coat. It does not chip off, it peels off, mostly at the dropouts and the disc brake mounting holes. They disc brake mounting holes were blocked and so when I made the hole, the paint peeled off! Worst is that the aluminum has oxidized leaving a powdery stuff which I had to scrape before reaching bare aluminum. Minor scuffs

The paint's crap. I returned the bike and got a Santa Cruz superlight
