Strength:

PROS: -modern geometry -internal routing dropper post hole on seat tube -shifting is great right out of the box -braking is very good right out of the box -take it out of the box and 15mins max, the bike is ready to ride -ride it until parts die, then upgrade them or just replace them with the same spec -crazy good deal on this blow out sale from REI -REI support after the sale, and warranty

Weakness:

CONS (the ones that are the most irritating): -non-lock-on grips -integrated shiftier and brake controls (smacks forehead - shimanno come on, enough of that!) -141 QR boost, C-dale should have just gone all in and done 12x148 (notice they did this on the 2020 Scarlet), but the 141 means you can run high end boost hubs with qr caps preserving the spacing for WT or Plus tires UPGRADES to consider: *BB its square taper stock *Low-end coil fork (not as bad as elastomer, but not as nice as a high quality coil or better yet an air fork) *i19 rims - really? Unless you are a xc racer, who uses these anymore? *Tubeless tires - think Maxxis Minions (drool) *High end hubs with quicker engagement - looking at you DT Swiss *If you replace the hubs you can go 11 or 12 speed drivetrain, with the current hubs a 1x10 is your max for the stock hubs cassette.
