All around quality and attention to detail! The paint finish is the best I've ever had on any bike. Built in chain slap guard is nice and makes the bike quiet. Shock is very accessible. Built in cable routing guides are really nice. Read axle is nice. Extruded head tube again show quality and detail. The rail system uses very high quality parts. I have it setup in 14.35 BB and 65 degree head angle. It rails corners, pops off jumps, and is very nimble feeling in tight sections, and stable at speed. Has a solid flex free feel, and it looks sexy as all get out.

Weakness:

There are very few weaknesses on this bike. Like all single pivot bikes it has a little brake jack, but not as bad some others I've ridden. Greasing up the rail can be a little messy but it really doesn't add that much maintenance.

For the the bike park, I can't think of a better bike to have. It's forgiving, it loves to jump, rails corners, and has all the modern standard. Some riders prefer VPP,FSR, or DW link, but for me with weak shoulders single pivot is easier to pump, less maintenance, and very stiff. I couldn't be happier with this bike.

taking big hits, jumping, going fast, switches lines great, light for a dh rig, very stable at speed and yet turns better than the demo 8.

Weakness:

is this even posable to answer for a yeti they are all great. so far the only thing was the bars and those are a simple fix

so far the best dh rig i have ridden.

Cornering is amazing, easy to set up suspension, rail, linear shock rate, geo

Weakness:

none. I love everything about this bike

The bike came with a 450# shock and I was only getting maybe 20% sag. (I'm guessing the guy below is retarded and does not have his bike set up correctly) Went to a 400# spring and still not getting 33% sag. Finally went to a 350# spring and I'm golden. I'm over 200lbs so I would have never guessed I needed to run a 350# spring. Anyway the bike felt a bit too lively and jumpy with the 450# spring now with the 350# it's a different bike altogether and just eats nasty rock gardens. The bike is so easy to set up with the rail markings. I love it. This bike is everything I could want from a race bike. Yeti built the perfect bike. I love it!

CHEAP, SINGLE PIVOT, GOOD GEO

Weakness:

Blows through the travel way too easy. More maintenance than other bikes.

After waiting for over 3 months for Yeti to deliver and having them give excuse after excuse for delaying shipment I canceled my order and got a 2009 from Go-ride. Maybe I was expecting too much but to get this bike to track well you need to run it with a lot of sag. The problem is the bike then bottoms out way to easy. No surprise the World cup guys do not ride this bike. Great bike for beginners but Cat 1/Pro racers should look elsewhere.

Didn't make me win

Exactly as advertised - this bike is far more flickable and quicker than the V-10. The V-10 is made to plow through extremely rough terrain at World Cup speeds - the 303R was much better for me at Whistler and at the local (Fontana) races. Quicker side to side, easier to jump and very forgiving at speed through the rough stuff OR recovering from bad landings. I ride a 575 as my regular bike, so the 303R is a perfect complement.

Silent with built in chain slap guard, good price, looks great, excellent quality paint finish, fun to ride!

Weakness:

1-1/8 headtube makes it hard to keep the stack height low. Cable routing on downtube may be a trouble for loading in truck but cable clips are very neat and high quality. Didn't come with owners manual or grease gun for the rail.

Coming off a Glory this bike puts the fun back in riding! pop off jumps, rapid line changes, bunnyhops are all easy on this bike. This bike takes the joy of riding a single pivot without the drawbacks, handles repetitive hits with ease and doesn't lock out under brakes, in fact this bike seems to accelerate more with every bump you hit! The chainstays are short which makes changing direction easy in the tech sections and very exciting on fast sections! the bike pedals like no other, get out of the saddle and stomp the pedals and the suspension stays still while you rapidly accelerate forward!
If you want a real fun bike to ride that puts a smile on your face every time then the 303 RDH is the perfect choice!

PRICE, quality, performance and a beautiful piece of eye candy

Weakness:

X7 shifter, DEETracks wheelset, only selling the bike with a gray 40 instead of the white that was pictured on the web site, kinda bush league of Yeti...

This bike is a steal. It also goes real fast, jumps high, rails corners, and destroys rock gardens. MSRP on this complete bike is less than most frames with a fork! And you get quality components including the best on the market Fox Racing Shox. My only complaint is the weak wheel set. I weight 200 lbs and went through both wheels in only 6 weeks. Mavic is replacing them but I do not recommend them for heavier riders. The ride is so smooth and alive you find yourself pinning it all the time. And the Zero Loss technology makes pedaling this 8" travel beast pedal like a 4" weight weenie. The single rail and single pivot mean fewer moving parts and easy maintenance (serious, this bike only takes a few steps more to clean than all of the others out there). Must be maintained properly for long lasting use but all DH rigs need to be maintained thoroughly so you don't go SPLAT. The new avid brakes are sweet. I never tried the codes but the Elixr R's do the trick and with this bike you are off your brakes more anyhow! This is one sexy Yeti and everyone should ride one ;) See you on the track.

everything.
cornering, jumping, trails, downhill.. you name it and the 303r shreds it, but its especially great in corners.

Weakness:

none at all

this bike is an amazing downhill rig. ive been checking mtbr everyday to see when i could post a review saying how great it is. it corners better than any bike i have ever ridden and it feels more than comfortable at speed. it takes corners of any size and shape like a god. if you want to drift or rail or whatever that bike will do it. Its amazingly nimble on rock gardens too. yeti definitely put in the hours when it came to making this bike. the biggest strength by far of this bike is its ability to be maneuvered and taken wherever the rider wants it to go. when i bought this bike i couldn't decide between the demo and yeti 303r. In the parking lot the yeti felt a little sketchy at tight corners but the second i got it home and on a trail the whole story changed. the yeti 303r is absolutely hands down the best bike ive ever ridden.
period.
the price is a bit hefty but its worth its weight in gold.
bottom line: dont trust what the bike feels like in the parking lot, this bike is amazing and you will never regret getting it. i just wish the fork was white! =p hahaha
