    Strength:

This is an incredible and really capable Enduro bike, the Rock Shox Lyric is just the perfect fork for this kind of riding. I ride mine with Shimano Saint Brakes both front and back, with a 180mm ice-tech rotor in the back, and a 203mm hope floating disc in the front, enormous brake power. It definetly is a great value bike for anyone who wants to get into enduro world with a medium budjet and is looking for a used rude.

    Weakness:

the main drawback probably is the rear shock; even though DT SWISS did a great job with the Equalizer, there is a huge problem, it works by extension, and not by compression, and there is a reason for this technology to be unusual today, it will probably cause some minor problems after a long period of time riding harsh gaps, and there are no other compatible parts. It also makes the bike not to look as clean and pretty as a regular Enduro ride.

    Strength:

Really is a do it all trail bike. You can comfortably and easily pedal it up any hill flick the switch and bomb down most downhill runs or technical single track. The real strength is in how well it does both with very little compromise on either. I think it would make a great training bike for a would be downhiller.

    Weakness:

It is not a downhill bike, it is not a cross country bike. You will find bikes better suited to either but probably not both. You will find may better race bikes for either discipline. It would have been nice to see the remote lever for the dropper seat post on the bike however at $50 odd dollars it is not the end of the world.

Really fun bike hard to fault. I was reading about on the Internet for the 6 or so months before it arrived here in Australia and brought it the day it arrived in the shop in January. I do not regret this. :) I wish I could but can't compare it to the Claymore but I believe theat there are a few $$$ between them too.

If you like downhill and are looking for a bike that you can enjoy riding when no shuttles are available then this is should suit.

I have not tried the claymore which is about the only thing which would come close, but was not available at the time of purchase.
