Good bike for entry level trail riding. If you want to do something more serious get a front suspension fork it will make a big difference. The parts are ok, it has some shimano parts on it which is a nice feature. I don't do any serious trail riding, just cruising around mostly but this bike gets it done and then some.

Strength:

rigid frame, tires, braking

Weakness:

weight, shifting (don't care for the grip shifter)

The bike is alright for street and some off road riding. Great bike for poking around on but if you plan on getting serious about riding, save your money and move up to a model that has a lighter frame. You can upgrade everything else.
