Commencal Bicycles Meta SX 2 All Mountain Full Suspension

Commencal Meta SX 2 Suspension Bike Destined for high mountain use, the Meta SX2 likes big altitude. With 160mm of travel front and rear, 180mm diameter disc brakes and a double ring chainguide, it has been designed for long descents and demanding terrain. This bike is ideal for Enduro competitions with exceptional descending abilities, but is certainly not lacking on the uphills. Its riding position is ideal for long climbs as much as quick accelerations. Fox's CTD -equipped suspension (climb-trail-descend) provide real versatility in any situation. Super frame - especially the low center of gravity but also beautiful looks (in my opinion)
Good setup - not too expensive, but sturdy equipment, built to last
Fox CTD susp. front and rear - I love the thing, the bike is great uphill thanks to the climb settings, and super plush when descending
Price - got awesome deal from company site

Weight - 15,7kgs is a bit too much, could shave a bit off with more expensive components...
REAR HUB - real piece of cr*p, I advise to change it asap
Formula brakes - I was used to Hopes, these are great too, but not the same in stopping power

This bike is built for fun not competition - speed is only a single factor which requires sacrifices. This bike does not sacrifice. It is built with heavier, but tough components. You get used to it very fast, the bike becomes an obedient puppy and does exactly what you want it to do. It climbs well, but once you turn downhill, it's hard to wipe the smile of your face. I love the manoeuvrability, especially in tight corners and singletracks, the suspension swallows up the roughest of trails and drops are no problem either. The miniDH geometry really makes a difference, I rode a SC Heckler previously for years, but the SX feels much more stable on descents and glides through obstacles with ease. Recommended!
