Bionicon Reed 140 All Mountain Full Suspension

DESCRIPTION

Ascending, the lowered front and overextended rear triangle offer significantly improved climbing compared to the completion. Descending the plush air suspension with 160/140 mm travel will take the fear factor out of even the most demanding technical sections.

Strength:

Very stiff frame, genius geometry adjustment, low top tube,
Geometry adjusting works very easily "on the fly", without stopping. Only press the blue button, move your body and all is fine. Downhill position: 66 steerer angle, Uphill 71. Seat tube angle from 74 to 79. Infinitely intermediate positions.
The new suspension generation with G2s technology and magura shock works very sensitive, even by high rider weight. The compression settings are different and effective.

Weakness:

High bottom bracket. No ground touching, but sometimes it feels a bit like sitting over the bike, not in the bike. Rear tire clearence max 2,4". The chain stays do not allow more. On the other side I do not touch these with my shoes. The travel agent double crown fork fits 2.5" tires.

I only buyed the frame set. Frame, fork, bionicon system, handlebar, front derailleur.
Very variable bike, climbing easy steepest trails, comfortable riding. After setup it works well, only change the geometry if necessary. Unagitated riding, enjoyful technology. Suspension (G2s) at eye level with Fox an RS. The colour concept ist extravagant, no unique bike. You will not meet it at every ice cream parlor. Very solid engineering. Only established standards like BSA bottom bracket, x12 and x15 thru axles, ISCG, industrial sealed bearings. Easy to get and change, if necessary.
