Strength:

Geometry and stability of a longer travel "enduro" style bike Efficiency and agility of a 130mm bike Value - good spec in an era of spiralling bike prices. Wide rims and frame clearance for up to 2.6 tires I had read the magazine reviews on this bike and sourced a bike shop who offered me a 3 day demo of the S model. I was not disappointed, but decided to purchase the RS as I preferred the Fox/Shimano build. My current 150mm bike felt a bit dull at times on less technical trails. I wanted the "feel" and efficiency of a 130mm trail bike again. What I also got was a bike that is every bit as competent in the rough and steep. But handles better on the fast or twisty trails than my old bike as well. Even with less travel the suspension does not feel overwhelmed in the rough at speed. Poppy agile handling, good for jumps. Whyte have really nailed the geometry with this bike. Climbs great as well. Very satisfied customer.

Weakness:

Heavy-ish for a 130mm trail bike. Does not feel heavy when riding on the trail, just looks heavy on the scales. I'm not concerned about the weight, this is an alloy frame with strong wheels & components. I am still comfortable on all day rides.
