Strength:

Great design, climbs well, made in the USA

Weakness:

Cracked two frames with in 2 months and I'm not alone, creaky bike also but that might be the crack also?

I really like this bike. Coming off of 26er's this is my first 27.5 and it rides great. Like most of the newer bikes I hate the low bottom bracket height, constant pedal strikes. I first found my original frame cracked at the base of the weld at the seat tube to bottom bracket she'll and the top tube to seat tube. I worked with Jenson USA and intense which both have great customer service, can't say enough good things about them. They got me a second flo red frame and after riding for another 3 months it cracked also at the base of the weld at the top tube to seat tube joint. Now it looks like I'm getting a carbon one as a replacement which goes to show once again that intenses customer service is great.

Strength:

Very confident bike: up or down. Stable! Cuts a corner like no other. Great geometry for the All mountain crowd. Poppy short rear end. Longish toptube for those short stems. Fatter tires fit. I love the exterior cable routing. Stiff IBOX frame. Threaded BB. great colors....... just plain sexy

Weakness:

Only 2 that I can find:
must grease the vpp ibox link
some limitations on shock choices

This is a knock out from Intense! It changed my mind on what a lower travel bike can do. The bike feels light and spry for its weight. Balanced. Super stable and confident ride. It can handle the rowdy and really flows through the smooth. Great geometry for the tight and technical stuffs. Climbs very well. Bombs the descent. It still amazes me with every ride on how well it accomplishes the ALL MOUNTAIN/TRAIL bike genre. the VPP does a excellent job in this incarnation. Im keeping this one for a while. It satisfied my soul......
