Lumicycle LED3 XPG ATL Lights

DESCRIPTION

LED3 XPG ATL (all terrain light) uses the latest CREE XPGs to become the brightest single Lumicycle Lamp. Raw power and medium beam spread combine to produce our best single off road light ever. This lamp unit is ideally suited to the rider who is looking for single off-road light that produces good width and length in the light without having to have a double lamp system i.e. a single spot and a single flood. Many customers have asked for such a light, being tuesday/thursday evening club riders who ride singletrack, old railway routes, forest tracks etc, but are not what we would describe as 'extreme' off-road riders.

Strength:

Ease of use, reliability, spread of light

Weakness:

Only one, if you're using the steady beam and want to switch to flashing you have to switch the light off and then on again. Small point but I had to thnk of something!

As per the numerous Mag tests and reviews these are simply great. The spread and penetration of light is better than antything else I've experianced...having compared it in the field to all the best of the rest it still trumps them all. I use it across a range of trails from slow winding technical rocks / roots through dense woods to open fast rocky decents and to date it's never failed me. I still have to use a helmet light (Hope LED1) for going through twisty trails but on the longer wider trails it's spread is more than enough. Just wish Lumicycle made a smaller helmet unit with integrated battery then they'd have the market totally sorted.
