Strength:

It's a great tool for training that goes beyond a simple GPS unit. When paired with a cadence sensor and a Heart Rate monitor you can get an extraordinary quantity of data to improve your training. All you have to do is download each session to the Garmin Connect website and there it will be.
As opposed to the newest 610, the 410 is still bezel operated so you can easily use your full finger gloves to move around the different screens and functions.

Weakness:

The battery!!!! The Forerunner would be almost perfect if not for the serious battery problem that aroused few weeks ago after nearly nine months using it.

At this moment I am trying to fix the issue with the help of Garmin who seems to be caring about it. I promise to come back here to report whether the problem was fixed or not.

It is a great tool fot training and improving the way you train as long as this battery issue is resolved. Few posts on the Garmin Forum prove that Garmin is concerned about but training should never be stopped because of this. Sad...

Similar Products Used:

I normally use a 60CSx GPS but the Forerunner is a whole different animal as it gathers sports specific data that goes beyond a simple GPS unit as the 60CSx.
