Simple and easy to use. As long as you properly lock the forks in the mounts, your bikes aren't going to budge an inch if you've done it right. Also keeps your truck from getting damaged! A good bargain for the price. No way to lock your bikes up though, so keep that in mind.

Ease in use, the bikes lift over the tail gate and attach via the fork dropouts--could not be easier, no crawling up inside the truck bed or finagling with substandard mounts. The Beddy-Jo uses robust standard Yakima type heads very similar to the pod assembly that the Yakima Boa utilizes.

I have found none. At 125.00 it is a bargain.

The rack fits firmly against the inside of the tailgate using robust straps. The rack is padded to prevent scratching. You can easily let down the tailgate after you take the bikes off and just lift up the rack with one hand and stow it indoors overnight or inside the truck if worried about theft. It is that simple to install and remove. Seconds !!

Initial set up may take all of 10 or 15 minutes and that just consists of installing the two sets of straps and the 2 pod-style mounts to the bar mechanism.

This is one of the easiest devices I have ever used. It is rock steady showing no slipping or movement while driving up to 80+ MPH and distances in excess of 100 miles.

Yakima has had great products such as the High Roller, awful products such as the rear wheel holder for the Boa, hard to use and not the best design in the world stuff such as the King Cobra, and just average stuff like the Copperhead. I am pleased to say Beddy-Jo is in the "great" category. Easy to assemble, easy to transport, does its job fantabulously, holds up to use, and is inexpensive.

It was a Delta or some off brand that was a single telescoping rod that fit close to the cab. The Yakima-like mounts were poorly designed fitting onto the round bar with a round surface of its own and only using rubber shims for additional grip. Needless to say it was an inferior product and the mount was forever slipping on the bar.

Simplisitc yet superb design. Holds bike SOLID! Extremely fast install/removal of rack, and bike onto rack.

Quick release knobs a bit bulky.

I've had this rack for about 5 months now and I'm very satisfied with it. Once you get the hang of it (removing/installing it about 3-4 times) it will take you literally 60 seconds or less to install the rack onto the truck. It takes about 10 seconds to remove it from your truck after taking your bike off. I love how quick i'm ready to hit the trailhead, theres no fussing around just simple quick and easy insallation and removal. Theres no need to even step foot in the truck-bed, which makes it even easier.

It holds the bike(s) solid! I have intentionally tried to take fast tight turns to see if anything would happen, and nothing....its rock solid. I do have a bed liner which likely provides bettter grip on the rack cushions and also prevents the rear tire from any type of lateral movement. This rack easily holds your bike through tight turns and highway travel at speeds excess of 80 mph. Never had a problem.

One small issue i've had is with the bulky quick release knob that is on the same side as the lever. The lever part of the quick release needs to be turned and held in place in the proper position to prevent any knobs on the bottom of my fork (Fox F80RL) from interfering with dropout installation. Mine got a bit scratched the fist two times from the bulky knob that the lever is secured with. This is certainly not a major issue, and only affects forks with knobs at the very bottom of the fork directly next to the dropout. It is easily solved by simply holding the lever in the correct position while installing the dropouts.

Its perfect for standard 9 mm quick release axles, but I'm not sure how easy or quick the installation is with Yakimas adapters for 15QR, 20mm thru-axle, etc.

I highly reccommend this rack if you have a pickup truck, just make sure your bed is long enough to fit the rack with your bike attached.

Awesome rack if you have a truck. I didn't want to attach anything to my truck bed permanently so I thought this was a great idea. Holds bikes great. I've driven on tons of long trips with this rack and haven't seen my bike waiver at all. I take it out when I'm not using it and when I ride it stores nicely inside my truck to prevent theft.

A bit pricey, but other than that nothing.

This is a great rack if you don't want anything permanently attached to your truck bed. For the expensive price I think it was a great investment. Have transported my bike and many friends bikes on rides with this rack.

Only stable if you're going four blocks or so. Dont plan on taking any long trips or if you take a curvy road to your favorite trail, forget it.

Buy this rack only if you are taking your bike around the block. For $120 you would be better off buying the individual locks that you mount to your bed and putting on a lock. Bottomline is that this is a rip off.

Easy to install and remove as it uses straps that are held in place as the tailgate is closed. No need to drill holes or mount hardware. Also nice to be able to lock it up in your truck when you reach your destination. Easy to adjust. Won't slip or slide around in the bed of your truck and I have a plastic bedliner in mine. Great quality product. Got lucky and got mine for $40.00 as they were closing them out at Colorado Cyclist. They normally retail for $120.00. If you have a pick-up this is the rack for you. Holds 2 bikes.
