Holds the bikes securely to the vehicle.

Doesn't fold all the way down so that you can open a horizontal swing gate (Jeep Wrangler) . No way on the rack to tie down the front wheels so they don't flop.

This rack does its job by holding the bikes securely to the vehicle. The only thing that I wish that some of the racks like this one had would be a way to secure the front wheel so that it doesn't flop around and beat up your bike and others on the rack, but a bungee cord does the job just fine for that. I like the fact that you can fold the arms down that holds the bikes so that it's more compact that all the way open. The only down fall to the rack would be that the release to let it fold down doesn't let it fold all the way down, so if you're like me and have a jeep wrangler you can't access your rear gate due to lack of space.
