I purchased wheel sets for fat bikes and couldn't be more pleased about the wheels and speed of shipping via internet shopping. I hope to visit the shop soon.

No negative criticism that I can come up with following two online transactions.

I was lied to about availability on tires. Drove 40 minutes to get there. They then lied and said "all locations don't have Everything. Funny.seeing how this is a single local shop with only one location. Then tried to sell me tires that were 4x the price of what I came for. I walked out the door only to hear a snide "have a nice day sir". So there mistake and instead of an apology I get a lie and a crude remark. WORST BIKE SHOP IN MILWAUKEE.........

They saved me $100. I had problems with my shifting. Another shop quoted me a $100 to fix it. I went to the Bikesmiths for a second opinion they fixed it in 5 minutes and DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING! I didn't feel right so I left $10 in the tip jar. They know their stuff and were very helpful, I found my my new bike shop!

Went in with a flat rear wheel. Came out with a three speed shift that did not work.

Terrible. Tried to imply that the shift was not working when I brought it in. Actually, this was a commuter bike that has been used often throughout the year for three years. The shift was never a problem before Bikesmiths fixed the flat.

I bought a bike from them last year. I went looking for for onething, they covinced me to buy another, now after a year a hate it and looking to sell with tremendous loss.
They seem to overcharge on these service fees. Was not impressed

I agree with the previous reviewer in that Bikesmiths offers great customer service. They are extremely helpful and do great work on your bike. Unfortunately, it's really not a place to go to buy a bike. They simply don't have much of a selection. If you have the time to order something they would probably be very helpful but if you want to go in, test ride a bike and walk out with it, it's not happening.

By far the best shop in Milwaukee. They don't have the best selection in the city, but they are outstanding in customer service. On top of this, their techs are some of the best I've found. They WANT to help you out.

Best customer service I've had in a bike shop. They go the extra mile every time. I once bought a bike from them and wanted to swap out parts. Not only did they do this without charging for the labor, they credited me the full retail for the parts they pulled off the bike. They did this willingly, which made all the difference to me.
