Weekend Warrior
Pretty good shop, with a decent amount of stuff, bmx, moutain bikes, skateboards, etc etc Customer Service Customer service is ok, I hadn't rode in a while and bikes have changed, so i had questions, they didn't really seem very informative, and now looking and researching more into it, they sold me a last years bike for this years price, i could have saved 300 bucks. so that suck, but over all not to bad a joint. |

Weekend Warrior
It is one of the local bike shops I have shopped at and seen other "extreme" sporting goods available(snowboards, skateboards, kayaks, etc). Well layed out with limited space. Good selection of BMX bikes, fast delievery for special orders(my cannondale was shipped in and built within a week). They primarily stock Giant, Cannondale and Haro BMX. I haven't been there since fall 07 so they might of changed. Customer Service I cross country ride all the time and I also race at the local bmx track so I am constantly bugging these guys for upgrades. The man I usually talk to is Gary. He seems very knowledgable and is a seasoned bike pro from the stories he has told me. I usually don't see a lot of high schoolers working there, usually WISE older guys. The owner apparently has been working on making free trail maps (road and mountain) for Winchester and surrounding area. It helped me find a trail behind my son's high school.
Similar Products Used: This shop has a unique, I guess "MVP", club for their customers. It cost me 5 dollars(yet you get a free bike tube valued at 5 dollars, go figure!?!) to join. I get a 30 dollar gift card for every 350 bucks I waste there. My c-dale cost me 1100 so that was 90 dollars of free money I put towards my bike rack. They also gave me a 5 dollar gift card in the mail on my birthday. Apparently they give you points for reffering a customer to sign up soooo... if you're are around the area contact me, we can ride too :-P |
