Great shop. Not the biggest in town and not the fanciest but they know what they are doing. Staff is very familiar with their sport and products. Best, most experienced mechanics in town, by far! Also seem to be cheaper in price too. If you have a problem, go talk to Shawn or John and they will figure it out.

Customer Service

If you have a question they have no problem taking the time to explain anything you need to know in detail. Recently, when trying to decide between two bikes I was advised to go with the slightly cheaper bike since the sales rep pointed out that you get more for your money. They've taken the time to show me how to use the tools I've purchased from them and have been more than happy to actually show me how they work. I've bought numerous tools, accesories, and two bikes from this shop and have not had any problems at all with their service. Even when I spent 40 minutes testing out 4 different bikes they were patient with me and worked with me to find the perfect fit.

I bought a pair of clipless pedals from them and on the very first day of using them, one of the pedals would clip in but it would not release. After inspection I found that part of the cage around the pedal had compressed and was keeping the pedal from working properly. I immediately went to the shop and after a minute of inspection they ordered a replacement pair with no questions asked.

Sunshine has a good size shop and manages to cover most types of bikes fairly well. This is all they do, and they do it pretty well. It's a must-visit for area riders. They are strong technically but not perfect. I had one problem with a repair, and a technical flub on a special part order.

Sunshine is the unofficial home of the Spinners, Greenville's riding club. Connect to group rides here. They close at 4:30 on Saturdays, and are not open on Sundays.

I will refer only to mountain bikes but Sunshine is known as much or more for their expertise and selection concerning road bikes. I can say that I have run into George Hincapie there if that is any indicator. The shop offers Gary Fisher, Specialized, Santa Cruz and I think Turner. Great selection of parts, accessories and nutrition supplements. They are ready and willing to order what they do not have on hand for prompt delivery. Mike, John or Tony are all capable of performing any service necessary on your bike.

This shops claim to fame is the ultimate customer service. When people love what they do it can't help but show. The personal attention is unmatched. These guys always remember your name and go out of their way to do a favor. Dave is an avid mountain biker with plenty of good trail advice including night riding. It is always a pleasure to visit the staff at Sunshine.

I have to travel 45mi to go to this shop, but well worth it. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgable. I have gone to most shops in the Greenville area and none of them equal this shop in their friendliness and service. Try them out, I think you will agree.
