A semi-locally owned bike shop, with a good selection of bikes of all types to choose from. Customer service is key in this shop, and they do an excellent job of it. The other couple of LBS in town tend to be a little more "boutique" than this shop, which is fine by me. I like to talk to real people that ride, when looking to purchase anything from the shop. Their prices are really good, even very competitive with online shops. Customer Service Top-notch customer service in my book. They don't just provide the level of service to repeat customers either. They provide it to the person looking to spend $8,000 on a new bike, or the mom that comes in needing a tube for her kid's bike. I have experienced this level of service personally, and witnessed it on many occasions too. From the store manager to the shop guy, they certainly know what they are doing, and provide excellent service. Similar Products Used: This is my shop in town. I am comfortable with the guys in the shop, they have always provided great prices, and their techs have done excellent work on my bike. I will continue to bring them my local dollars for this reason. Thanks Bike N Hike! |

This shop caters to mostly commuters and families. They carry Giant, Kona, and a few other brands. That said, they have a fair selections of mountain bikes in the low to mid-level price points. They will however order in the top models if you want them to. Customer Service Like all the shops in Corvallis, they can get busy at times. They try the best that they can to help. All the staff rides and seems fairly knowledgeable. Similar Products Used: The one thing that I like about this shop is that they don't try to sell you the most expensive bike if you don't need it. All the staff works as mechanics as well as sales, so they have a working knowledge of the what works and what does not. If there is one weakness though, it is that they don't do fittings. That is would keep me from buying a high end road bike from them, but for everything else, it is my go to bike shop. |
