This shop is no longer in existence. Biker Bob got booted from the rent free shack the park let him use because of a dispute with park management. Someone else took over trail maintenance and the trails have never been better kept. The park rented some bikes out of the camp store last year and is apparently looking for an actual, legitimate bike shop to take over rental and repair duties. Customer Service Bob used to run stuff he couldn't fix to the local shop in Oxford, then turn around and bad mouth them because they expected to be paid for their work. Similar Products Used: Bob's strong suit was his enthusiasm to get people on bikes. He was generally good at this, but would often make somewhat off-color comments around female cyclists that didn't go over well. He basically didn't know when to shut up! He was always dissing other shops for charging a fair rate, but he could afford to be cheaper because he paid no rent, had no utilities, and no employees. In the end, the park management got tired of his antics, and refused to renew his contract. |

This is for Bikerbob.com = Julie's Mountain Bikes- Nothing but good things to say about this place.
Customer Service Great customer service and solid email support. Thank you Julie and Bob. Similar Products Used: UPS shipping from Ohio to LA worked out great and the frame was packaged perfectly. |

If you are looking for a glittery shop in a downtown area, you are at the wrong place. If you simply want some of the best parts for your bike at incredibly competitive prices, where you can ride your new bike out the door onto trails, this is the place for you. Perfect location, right in the heart of a state park. Customer Service Top notch! I ordered several parts and had them mailed to my house. Very responsive to e-mail inquiries. I later decided to drive up and build a whole bike. Left later the same day with a fresh Racer X! I'll buy more from them in the future. Similar Products Used: Internet retailers have a bad reputation for taking business from the local shops. This internet retailer IS the local shop, that just happens to also sell over the web! |

Its the coolest little shop you've never been to. Bob and the crew are always great company before and after rides. Hilarity and good music 7 days a week.
Customer Service Second to none. In 10+ years of biking--going from skill-less newbie, to weekend warrior, to committed training; through breaking, fixing, ordering, replacing, and breaking parts again--this has been the best shop to work with. After riding throughout Ohio, WV, Virginia, NC, Utah and Colorado, I can honestly say that this is the best shop I've encountered. Similar Products Used: I dig the solar-powered, no-frills shop. Because of its proximity to Miami University, the trails bring in riders with interesting backgrounds. Over the years of riding with countless friendly folks, I've managed to learn a great deal about the local ecology, native flowers, and geologic history of the area. I think this one of the great, unique benefits of riding at Hueston Woods. |

Just a little cabin in the state park where Bob rents bikes and takes care of you. Customer Service Bob gave me a good price on a Titus frame and he put together a nice package for the parts that I needed. He was very knowledgable and helpful in suggesting what parts he thought would work out the best for my build. I drove over there and he helped me put the bike together. Similar Products Used: A great guy working out of a neat little state park where I'm going to have to get over there and ride some of his trails with him sometime. |

Nothing special about the shop, except that it's right there across from the trails at Hueston Woods - but Bob will bend over backwards to make sure you're taken care of. Customer Service Unbeatable. Similar Products Used: Bought my last bike from Bob, and I could not be happier with the bike and the service since. I highly recommend BikerBob, at Julie's. |

Nothing special about the shop - but Bob will bend over backwards to make sure you're taken care of. Customer Service Unbeatable. Bob takes care of things on the spot, instead of having to leave your bike for up to days like you may find at other shops. If he's got the parts and you have the time - Bob will take care of whatever. Similar Products Used: Bought my last bike from Bob, and I could not be happier with the bike and the service since. I highly recommend BikerBob, at Julie's. |

Weekend Warrior
Terrible shop. High prices. Bob tries to trick you into his little scams. Avoid. Customer Service Worst CS of any shop I've dealt with.

Located right on the trail head, this place is responsible for starting my love for riding on trails. I made the mistake of buying my first bike at another LBS closer to home. Thankfully Bob was there to fix all my problems with my "new bike." Eight years and three bikes later I can not say enough about Bob's longterm customer service. Please don't judge him on first impressions becaues he rarely makes a good one, however once you get to know him it is evident that he has a passion for biking. (ask him about his recent face plant in the camp ground) Always there on rideable days, even in winter, after 3 pm weekdays and after 10 am on weekends. The park has trails for all skill levels and camping available year round. Titus is the house brand and I love my switchblade. Give Bob a call! |
