As a girl it appears I am the first to chime in. This shop is first rate, top notch, don't go anywhere else! Customer Service The best! Bar NONE! Similar Products Used: Get a life Eddy's fans. I agree with Road Rider. You must work there. Bike Authority is, without a doubt the best. If you are interested in a bike or anything related, stop in, make up your own mind. |

I will be the first to admit that Bike Authority does not have a huge selection of Mountain Bikes, it is clearly not their thing. Customer Service The finest I have seen. Staffed with people that ride / race and love to be in the saddle. Similar Products Used: Voted Best Bike Shop in Cleveland 2 years in row ('07 & '08) and looking to make it a third.

Very small selection of mountain bikes and gear. Almost everything in the shop is roadie stuff. The prices are unusually high, and once in the shop it feels like your not welcome, well unless you shave your legs and and decked out in spandex. Customer Service Haha what customer service? they usually have about 4 to 5 guys in the shop at a time. Most of which just stand in the back, i have not once been offered a bit of assistance. Employees here always try to make me feel inferior and talk down to me like i have no idea what i am doing. When it fact it is them that BS their way through conversations, im not ignorant. Similar Products Used: They will over-charge you on just about everything. especially repairs. Many friends of mine have had bad experiances with repairs as well as customer service. Just beware. your better off going to eddy's. |

Poor selection of merchandise, even poorer customer-retention skills Customer Service Non-existent Similar Products Used: If you expect to keep a customer coming back how about not charging them $15 to turn an allen wrench 1 centimeter to adjust a derailleur. Seriously, did you break your freaking back doing all that work? Go to Eddy's, they'll take care of you. |

Sherman (the owner) is a great guy. He's probably the area's biggest supporter of local cycling teams, clubs, events, etc. Great selection of high-end road stuff and lots of clothing and accessories. MTB selection is not very big, but his ability to order a wide variety of brands (trek, fisher, scott, c-dale) is nice. They use the Wobblenaught fitting system which is supposed to be very good. The brands they carry regularly bring in their demo wagons, so you can try many different models. Customer Service Completely depends on who you talk to. Talk to Sherman and you'll have the best bike shop experience in the area. Talk to anyone else and it's a roll of the dice. Some of the employees there are really nice and helpful, but have no clue what they're talking about. Others are very knowledgeable, but don't like to talk to humans. I hear that if you have a good relationship with the knowledgeable guys, they are very helpful, but I don't care to make the effort. Similar Products Used: Bike Authority has two huge problems which never seem to improve.

I have been going to Bike Authority for about a year now. It is way better than any other bike shop in the area that I have gone to. All the employees there are friendly and very helpful. Bike Authority is certified in bike fitting and they are not going to sell you a bike that doesn't fit you as someone mentioned above. When I got fitted for my bikes I could tell a difference. I was more comfortable, confident, and felt my pedal strokes were more powerful. Whenever there is a mechanical problem with my bikes they solve it, within good time too. My bikes work great whether Im racing cross country or going out for a road bike ride. When buying a product, they will find what you need even if they have to order it. I recommend this shop to any of my friends/family or anyone else who is sick of going to a shop that doesn't care about their customers and their bikes. Customer Service Phenominal, it's nice to meet a group of people who know how to run a bike shop. Similar Products Used: I would recommend going to Bike Authority to see for yourself what a nice shop it is. I would also suggest getting fitted to your bike there. |

I have been going to Bike Authority for a little over a year now. The review that is probaly above mine is absurd. I started going to Bike Authority due to bad experiences at other shops. Bike Authority's employees are always very helpful and pleasant. They will not put you on a bike that doesn't fit you, because they are certified in bike fitting. I could tell a pretty big difference in my pedal stroke after being fit to my bikes. They are very good in finding and fixing anything you want. I have had no complaints about their service either. My bike is always in great shape whether Im going for a road bike ride or racing my mountain bike. And if there ever is a problem they know how to take care of it. Customer Service Best I have dealt with, great to find a group of people who understand how to run a shop. Similar Products Used: I recommend going to this shop to find out for yourself how awesome it really is. |

Ok, I have to say these guys are horrible with service. They used a piece of a SNACK FOOD wrapper to shim my fork/headset crown race! I mean, COME ON!! Of course it destroyed my fork. And I know a ton of other people who have been screwed by them too. BEWARE! Customer Service Read above Similar Products Used: Read Above |
