Get In Gear Bicycles, Co. was originated in March 2012. The owners have over 31 years of combined “hands on” experience in the bicycle industry. Our passion is to create the ultimate customer experience for the bicycle enthusiast and those looking for something new.

They offer bicycle repair service and stock multiple lines of apparel, equipment, and sports nutrition products. All repair work is fully licensed, insured, and backed by their motto of “Doing the Right Thing, Leading by Example, & Accepting No Compromises”.

In addition to repairs, their desire is to educate & equip people on the bicycle. They love being involved in the community and their experience has provided them the opportunity to work with local law enforcement agencies, offering group training and technical support, and with non-profit organizations to host bicycle-safety rides and rodeos for kids.

They are members of the International Mountain Bike Association (I.M.B.A), Law Enforcement Bicycle Association (L.E.B.A.) and a supporter of local area bicycle groups.

They also have a unique twist that no other bike shop in the Charlotte area has; they have four beers on tap!
