I must agree with the previous poster who complained about this shop installing a child's seat on his wife's bike, the subsequent problems and the resulting lack of customer service.

I have found the staff to be rude and dishonest. I have purchased 3 bikes from this shop but going in for repairs has been a horrible experience. Currently, I make the trip to the new, beautiful, courteous staff, honest bike shop in Riverhead despite living close to Country Time.

I just purchased a new road bike from Greg at Country Time. It was one of the best purchasing experiences that I have ever had. I wanted the carbon fiber Giant Advanced, and Greg helped me pick out the size that was best for me. He and his helpful staff helped me select pedals and shoes for the bike. The personal service i received was gratifying, and i was not prepared for the exceptionally good "deal" that Greg gave me.

Walking into this shop was pretty cool, it has a unique layout. Seems merchandised well and had a lot of bikes! I was there on a Saturday during the summer and this place was hopping. They had a fair amount of eye candy. It seems they are well equipt to handle the tourists and daytrippers.

I was there to leave my bike off for a drivetrain cleaning. When i picked it up, the drivetrain looked new. Everyone there was helpful and knowledgeable.

While i was talking to one of the guys that worked there, the owner came up and introduced himself and thanked me for coming in. You do see that too much these days.

This is the worst bike shop I have ever been to. BEWARE. They installed a child's seat on my wife's bike incorrectly and subsequently the rack rubbed against the tire, the chain fell off the gears and she got a flat tire!! How's that for service? On the child seat package instructions it says they recommend installation by a professional. We would have been better off letting our 19 month old do it. Don't let them touch your bike. Go elsewhere!!

Upon returning to the store the owner denied culpability and tried to tell us we were wrong! It always amazes me how shortsighted business owners can be when all he had to do was apologize and correct the mistake. Why does it take an argument? So not only are these people incompetent they are nasty and provide no customer satisfaction.

this bike shop is exellent the guy below must have been talking about the wrong shop. they have a nice section of every kind of bike.
