New location is fabulous. Customer Service Best in class. I've visited bike shops all over the country and Mello Velo has the best customer service I have ever experienced. And I received this service for a rather inexpensive day rental. Can't say enough good things about Mello Velo's service. Similar Products Used: SUPER

Excellent Shop. Best in Santa Fe for service, atmosphere, honesty, and experience. Customer Service Excellent. Dave, Art and the rest of gang at MeloVelo have kept the old school friendly atmosphere of a great bike shop. Focusing on helping you instead of a sales job. Very experienced, long time Northern New Mexico mechanics and riders. A breath of fresh air to have such great experience, coupled with honesty, and located in a cool Santa Fe location. |

Basic shop with all sorts of cool gear, good tires, bikes, clothes, lights...also closely affiliated with vicious cycles and you all know how sweet some of those frames are. great shop that offers everything from custom builds to basic rentals, visit mellow velo's vicious gardens for some good shirts and some food as well right across the hall. can also order you any bike you'd like, mtb, road, bmx whatever, also the shop help is a kid that goes to school here in santa fe with a ridiculous norco a-line for sale. the shop is also very good at building and truing wheels as well. Customer Service Excellent customer service, Dave hooked me up with free shirts for a bike that was supposed to be built for me but was not yet finished Similar Products Used: I had the shop rip down my Gary Fischer GED and i took it home, sandblasted it and sprayed it. took it back and had them do a ss conversion. love the bike! i ride it every day here to my college and havent had a prob. go in and visit dave and the family, they also kinda host Critical Mass every second thursday of the month, look it up. |

One of a kind custom and specialty shop in downtown Santa Fe, they also have awesome demo bikes for rent. Cool clothing, lots of maps and local advice. The perfect thing to do in downtown Santa Fe while my wife was off shopping! Fun trails located nearby as well. Customer Service Amazing, I couldn't decide whether to road ride or mountain ride. I was tempted to ride an Eddy Merckx carbon road bike, but figured I'd give the local trails a shot. I was given a brand new lightweight Norco full suspension bike, and they even asked if I'd mind waiting a few extra minutes b/c they wanted to add lockon grips to the bike for my ride over the stock regular grips! Similar Products Used: Check out the Mellow Cafe next door, coffee, clif and hammer bars and gu, plus free wi-fi! Great setup all over. |

Awesome little shop in downtown Santa Fe. Lots of custom and one of a kind items, in addition to superb demo bikes for rent. Great clothing and a cafe as well. Talk about the perfect vacation setup while my wife shopped! Customer Service Outstanding. Expert map advice & maps available, when I decided to pass on the Eddy Merckx carbon rental road bike for a mountain bike instead, they asked if I didn't mind waiting a bit longer so that they could put lock-on grips on it for me. The bike was a lightweight Norco full suspension, dialed in perfectly for the local terrain. Never had such a great rental experience. Similar Products Used: Check out the Mellow Cafe right next door. Coffee, map, Clif and Hammer items and free wi-fi! |

Wow, the best rental shop I've ever been in hands down. Normally I'm a roadie, but wanted to mountain bike on the amazing trails I read just outside of Santa Fe. I couldn't decide. Rent an Eddy Merckx road bike or an upgraded mountain bike. Went with the mountain bike. Trails were a blast, although the altitude did a number on my sea level lungs! Customer Service Outstanding. The guys at the shop actually asked if I'd mind waiting a few minutes so that they could add lock-on grips to the bike. I've never been in a shop that puts so much into the bikes, I actually got a lightweight Norco full suspension that worked better than mine at home. Directions were a snap as well. Similar Products Used: If you are anywhere near Santa Fe, stop in for a cup of coffee and an awesome ride! |

Small shop near the plaza downtown. They have all the basics in gear and sweet rentals! Customer Service Excellent. David's trail recommendations for the length of ride I wanted were dead-on. Glad he talked me out of Winsor, due to my time constraints. He recommended I ride Dale Ball Central and North. Perfect ride for the time I had alotted. I look forward to getting back there soon to hit the Winsor. Similar Products Used: I rented a Haro MaryXC 29er that rode perfectly. The bike had low miles and was dialed in. I definitely recommend them for rentals and advice! |

Small shop near the plaza in downtown. Seems they specialize in repairs and rentals with some necessary gear if you need it. Customer Service Excellent. David's trail recommendations were great. The guys did an excellent job making sure my rental was dialed and tuned. Rented a Haro Mary XC 29er that rode without a hitch! Similar Products Used: When I return for a longer stay, I'll definitely re-rent from these guys and look forward to hitting Winsor with one of them. |
