Great shop! I'd overlooked this shop many times while in Abq, but when looking for a specialized I saw a sign on the shop and decided to stop in. Very glad I did. They have both mens and womens "shops" and also sell winter sports type gear. Tons of bikes from Specialized, Yeti, and Santa Cruz (can't remember some of the other brands) and everything from XC race type bikes to downhill oriented bikes. Tons of clothing, shoes, helmets, pedals, wheels, tires and a great assortment of racks/haulers and accessories. Also lots of road and cross bikes and related accessories. Customer Service Shop personnel where terrific. I did not feel one once of pretension in this place. All of the employees had smiles on their faces and were more than willing to help with questions without breathing down your neck. They also did not try any "hard sale" tactics nor did they act in any way like bike snobs. The folks I encountered also seemed like the enjoy riding and wanted to make sure I would be happy with my purchase, if and when I decided to purchase. I have not dealt with any repairs, so I'm not sure how they are from a technical standpoint, but my bike, was set up properly and although I like to check out my bike myself once I get it home, there was nothing that I had to tinker with to make sure it was ready to ride. Similar Products Used: Its a large shop with lots of things besides bikes. The employees are very nice and helpful and seem to know what they are selling. No high pressure sales pitches and no snobbery. I wasn't sure what to expect when I went in, but was amazed by how nicely I was treated (which is a sad comment on how I expect to be treated by other shops). The prices are good and on items I checked online, the prices match up with the store's prices. Although I don't live in ABQ, this will be the first place I go for my next bike purchase. |
